looks like youve got folks trust dan think if you wanted to you could make few quid pal whilst helpin your cousins get fire back into there deerhpund crosses win win,if you wanted to do it that way me id prob breed a bit of good bull blood into the strain i know its hard to find real good bull blood but i can so thatsnwhat id do my opinion cheers

got to say the pics dan has put up look more like the dog i would have not seen many over here of that build im not lookin for strong dog though ive got that with my usual an theyve got accel to catch on small fields that i run was jus after a different breed to have some sport with definatly got me thinkin an very interestin in what youve all said be curious to see what happens with whin think the youth with the pup may end up in the shit though that is to young to judge a dog tomo nailed it sounds like a knoledgeable chap hope im wrong about the pup atb

I had a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 deerhound,he was a very good dog very keen and not scared when things got rough,but he was 29 inches tts and very fast but couldnt turn the best,this was his downfall as he broke his front leg running a bloody rabbit, great for big stuff mate but not so good for bunnys, got mine from ireland good luck finding a goodn mate.. me too an the pick of dans dog is a beast maybe there not for me most ive heard from folk is there big an clumsy an take ages to get to speed an dont turn fast enough but people comment on one dog theyve seen an tar the rest sometimes might just play it safe an get a pure grey not decided yet

foremark is next place for me to go also blithfield worth a look i went to carsington last week four of us an we all caught 3 in last half hour was briliant sport all around 2/3 pound,went yesturday to a lake bank fishin though was a nightmare in wind caught late on though with gold head damsel they seem to be the ticket everywhere at the min if you dont mind bank fishin il send you tell you where that lake is atb

never bin asked for mine always had 1 though i agree about the east europeons takin fish an believe me they take every1 ive worked with some in the past when i lost my job an they take literaly everything small perch roach even gudgeon an thats how they are in there country they pay for a permit an they can take a certain weight every year in there country still not there country now somethin realy has to be done about this takes the piss out of us who care about fish numbers etc

found one pal my mates got one ive bin on at him for ages to line her shes 4 stunning bitch works like a trojan but hes bin puttin me off because he doesnt want the pups at his no time with work but he said if i whelp her we can do it an the c**t gets his pup aswell lol will get pics up of bitch an anyone interested in a pup let me know will be cheap for folk on here could be after next season but well see my dog self enterd an started in the deep end so not worried one bit about him

dont know about everyone else the people i meet round my area i cant get on with dont agree on anythin an they just get up my nose im not talkin about lads on here or poachers just folk in general at shows etc realy hard to find decent folk that think the same as me and operate the same as me let me know your opinions.

the last sentance says it all really,rarely will a russel beat a lakie in any show and havin white uns in the russle classes just makes it less likely for the russle,s . I got nothing against white lakies at all but most seem to be bred just for shows and its a slippery path to non working crufts dogs. work first,show for a bit of fun You cant intentionally breed true white lakelands,the dogs on this thread[with the exeption of natters maybe?] are russell x lakelands. found summat actualy agree with you on cant believe it
