  17. Her recall is a1 when no rabbit scent around, just hard to get back when she is beating the field, going to keep on training her,I'd say she will come good hopefully anyway, think we are going out tonight on the lamp see how she gets on
  18. yeah mate she is a very keen dog, will try her on the lamp soon, she will beat the field no bother, maybe that's why she was sticking her head down the hole she was marking, cause keep going back to same hole, her recall not great when she is hunting up sure she will come around but
  19. ah yeah mate she will be alright I am sure,if he can just keep her away from the burrows and just sit and wait instead of putting her head into the burrows, but she kept going back to one burrow, and we were waiting and waiting for the ferret, but that burrow she keep going to was the one the ferret was at,I just hope she comes right for him for what he payed
  20. yeah lad thought that but he was meant to be brill little ferret dog he wS thinking this dog was going to be doing every thing right but since the dog is hunting up during the day, will she do the sMe on the lamp and suppose the more she gets out ferritin. The better she may get if he get s her to wait at the burrows and look cause if she sticks her head down burrows and run around them the rabbits won't bolt what do you people think would be glad to hear from ye thanks for info
  21. hi just wondering what you lads think,my brother got a nice little dog collie cross x,I went out walking with her today through a rush field and a lot of burrows, the dog just sticks it nose to the ground and of she goes, she is rising them but rushes to big to catch, and when he got her,he put the ferret in to few burrows and she was sticking her head in to the burrows, are you better to leave her in the slip,or let her learn of the lead, what you'd think she is only 15 months old nice little dog to
  22. lads these are all lovely looking dogs, beddie mix is real nice, the above dog colliexwhipxgrey x would this be a faster type more alrounder,or would this cross be cleaver with collie blood,I am keeping eyes open anyway, whatever I pick only used for rabbits thanks for the help all took on board
