    when out lamping oon my permission the other day i came across poachers and one was shouting flash it off the edge i aproached thenm and told them to do one etc but what my queri is .. what did he mean flash it off the edge ?? thanks

    if by ginger one you mean mr charlie then i dare say your a silly idiot and risked ruining a good dog.. if your pup had been bit he would ov been spoilt instantly and as for 8 months on rabbits thats too young he is still growing he will end up not being able to turn too well and his muscles in a bad condition as the bne will grow and stretch the muscles and he will be more prone to injury.. you have a lot to learn or meby you have learned but off the wrong pearson all i can say is let him grow spend the next 4 -6 month on obedience and fitness but please dond keep working him the way you are

    a greyhound running loose over rough ground, woods etc dont think you,ll get many seasons with him,a tragedy waiting to happen unless your really really lucky,i,ve seen lots of dogs breack legs,hocks;and wrist muscle injuries on the track and most of them get plenty of freedom to run when growing up,their just to fast and they only see what their chasing,capable of running into anything but best of luck you,ll need it,why do u think the lurcher was bred, cos its got everything speed brains stamina. dont take this the wrong mate but how does this comment apply to my post... and i think dav

    dave sleight the man from purdys progress... has 2 greyhounds they where coming on well when i last heard and will most probably be fully working pest controll dogs ... he never had a qaurell with them

    i am offering a home for a young greyhound bitch.... it will be a forever home and the younger the better as i would like to see her work.... she will be bread from but the pups will have pet and workinghomes accounted for when they are born..... dont start slating lads thanks stew

    hey thanks for the replys guys i have had sum fun and i am using it as much as possible to run it in. pleanty target practice aand that not sure what me sight is as im on the computer at me mates house and dont have the rifle with me i will let you know when i get a chance

    so i went the shop with 2oo pound and said to the store owner look mate i want summit cheap whats gunna kill a rabbit and he pointed me in the direction of an smk syntarg.22.... i dont know nothing of air gunning and i think he knew that aswell mind you it has took 3 rabbits out of the field i just want your oppinions on what you think i should ov got oh and i got a real good sight the gun was only 120 thanks stewie

    i wasnt asking for a kc whipet to breed him 2 mate you obv havnt read the thread..... and i have your views and can now act on that. he is working realy well and as previously stated his yap is not a problem and is getting less and less .atb.... why would yapping be a problem

    i have a terrier colar on my whipett holds well and looks good on him as for slip leads well i have a piece of rope with an eye splice on one end and melted at the other its about 2 meters long all together

    thanks for the replys guys and no its not the pup in the avatar she a greyhound... think i will hold him back for a few seasons and make sure he is up to scratch. no he is not kc but comes from 2 real good workers and al keep yas all updated wif the progress he makes as he makes it thanks again stewie

    as my previos post said i run a whippet which is 21tts extreamly good pup on the lamp and a briliant dog ( does yap now and again but starting to get to grips with the retrieve) and i am almost 100% with you here mate my whippet is game as they come and has gave a hand on bigger game aswell but each to there own i supposse

    Are you waiting for summer ferreting because its to cold for you or the dog now,or os it because baby rabbits are easier for the dog to catch?. no im waiting for thsummer because i dont have ferreting permission and a pal of mine does but he is only a fair weather hunter so im waiting to go with him atb

    and who r u like i have already said i hunt permision and the yap is no problem if your alowed to be there also its getting less and less of a yap as he catches more and more so you run dogs on land where you not meant to be ( poacher) i take it you probably run ilegal game and you think you can put me down mate grow up and stop tryin to have a go give sum advice like others but my advice to u do one off the topic
