Apperently you guys are outside of the USA Beagling happens to bee the one sport that I've gotten into within te last year. I frequent the "hunted hare forum" and am from central Wisconsin. Because of the location (near Minisota & the UP of Michigan, there are alot of us that hunt Hare/rabbit (in that order I have only one beagle and do alot of soloing; however, I have done a little packing, and hope to do alot more this winter, since my dog is a little over a year old, and has just come into his own.

Hi, I stumbled on this forum while looking for a cheap way to build a rabbit/hare live trap. I live in the US; state of Wisconsin; Marathon county,North-central part; near the city of Wausau. The small town that I live in is Marathon City, just about 10 mi west of Wausau. I've recently aquired a beagle (13 in.). He is just 6 mths old now and is just coming into his own. He is very excited about tracking, and able to follow a line. Unfortunatly He has only sight chased one cottontail rabbit that was flushed by my son's mountain curr.
