    honestly??!!!! yes mate had 4 jills myself die to rats, and a few injured, that was working big places, the ferrets was old enough and well experienced with ferreting bunnys, i did do alot at that time, i personally would get a smoker, Dont use your jills,use big hobs, but the best thing to do is get a smoker as soon as popossible, old chainsaw or strimer are best.

No copper mate .. just that going by the flag n you being from north wales maybe a chance your from wrexham (maybe a long shot) .. i know a lot of lads in and around wrexham and good chance i may know the dogs breeder ... a dog is what you make mate .. i've seen pups from un-tested stock work well

    Thanks for the repllies,most of the comments seem to be in favour of the Borders, just a couple of negative comments, what i gather from the replies is there a bit slow to start of, but when the penny drops thy make a decent dog, so the key word is patients.

    Hi all just bought a Border Terrier bitch, i want it for bushing and also a bit of ratting, the reason i chose a Border over the Terrier breeds is thy seem to be a lot quieter, (neighbours problems)do thy make good working dogs,sensibly replies please.

    i have the same problem .. the missus found out i messed about with the ex .... so my circumstances changed (missus dnt trust me lol) .... so when they change again, i'll be booking holidays off work keep it in your trousers mate and you wont get into trouble.

    Hi mate, i buy the packs of chicken wings from Asda for mine thy love them, plenty of flesh on them for the ferrets and thy love chewing the bones.

    Cheers mate, thats what i have just been told, also been told you can make your own up using some different oils, Aniseed, Codliveroil vegetableoil, dont know how true this is, but it sounds about right.

    We used to have a Patterdale x Whippet .. Good ferreting / bushing dog and gam as f**k on charlies. cracking little dogs to have, just not many about.. Enough crosses already around that can do the same job I suppose! might slap a patterdale ove my whippetx greyhound x bull n see [bANNED TEXT] thay cum out like keep 1 bk n give rest away lol fancy 1 if i do it?

    I disagree there are some idiots that do breed dogs to cause damage to either othere dogs or human's.
