Hi thanks for the reply. My ferrets have been with each other since june-july(09). My hob has been castrated. I wasnt ready for this to happen as the rescue didnt tell me but i should of researched it. If he continues to do this then i will take him back to RSPCA and get another jill. (Work them next season).

When i get 2 jills and theve both been neutured i will need to get them jill jabbed if they come in season?

I think i might give him back to the rescue and get myself another jill. Sound good? Airgunner106. P.S dont want to feel harsh but im going to work my ferrets when the seasons back and i will only work my jill so he will be bored. Best for him to go to another home where he will be better off.

Hi everyone. Today i went out to see my ferrets handled them and gave them some rabbit and then suddenly my hob ferret grabbed my jill in the back of the neck. now I KNOW this isnt much to worry about as it can be playing but she was hissing and trying to back off. Then as she bacled off she fell down the hutch stair and he grabbed her as she fell by the throat and she was squiling and moving franticly. he finally let go of her but then procided to bite and drag her even though she was hissing and giving all the pissed off signs. When he stopped i took her out and brought her inside to

Me and my dad were doing a bit of target practice today in my backgarden and a magpie came a flew about 25yds away onto on a high tree. It was a perfect chance to see how good my new rifle was so...BANG! I got it straight in the chest and it crashed straight to the ground. I was suprised that it was still alive which i was really pissed off about as i have always said that you should always have a clean kill. So i shot again and hit it in the same area and then nerves kicked in and so i gave one final shot to the head. I was happy that i got my first kill but i didnt like that it wasnt co

Hi everyone, For xmas my dad is getting me my first air rifle to go hunting with on small game and vermin. The air rifle itself is a Crosman Phantom 1000 and comes with a scope. Aparently its a great beginner rifle but with some power and is good for starting out hunting small game and vermin. If anyone has any tips or advice that they can give to me about going out on my first shoot i will be greatful. Also if anyone is near medway in kent and that has land that they would allow me to shoot on i would very happy to do so. Thanks everyone. Airgunner106. P.S Im 14 BTW so i wont come
