Interesting thread. I don't have a problem with anyone living here, as long as they WORK to pay their own way and respect our CHRISTIAN values. If they are offended by Christmas, Easter etc then they should not be living here. I also abhor the way we pander to their "sensitivities" e.g. people wearing crucifixes around their necks! For God's sake, they openly flaunt their "beliefs" by wearing the burka etc and we are supposed to be okay with that but not allowed to wear crosses or in some places, display nativity scenes at Christmas! Incidentally, the French have now banned the burk

I use humane traps (yeah, i'm a wimp). They no longer come in to the living areas of the house now but I did move all my dried food, cereal, cat biccies etc to top cupboards where they can't get in. I STILL hear them in the walls but i'm not too bothered as long as I don't get a "sighting". Thing is, I have three cats and they don't even bother with them!

I've been thinking about stopping too. Woke up on Saturday with a rotten cold and sore throat and thought, "today's the day to give up fags".........bout 30 mins after that thought, I had Halls soother then lit up /groan

And I hung loads of fat balls out for them in that snow on Saturday - couldn't remove the ice from the bird bath though without breaking the whole thing. Hot water didn't even shift it either I'm loathe to fill the feeder up though as I think there is a rat hole at the side of my shed and I don't want to encourage those!

Damn right i'm single. Last a$$hole didn't like me NOT worrying about what he done. Walked out on me a couple of years back and to this day, I still think he thought i'd beg him to stay! Biggest favour he ever did me. ROFL

The boys dog is safley home. Had a call yesterday afternoon saying that my girlfrinds dog was seen being walked near some highrise flats in nottingham..after a long drive up there(from hampshire) and a few hrs in the van sat outside,we finally spotted the scrote walking him about 11pm..needless to say the dog is safley home.microchipp confirmed owner ship..He apparantly bought the dog from someone else..a gentle persuasuan forced a confession..And I assure you one dog thief has been removed from the genepool.he'l NEVER steal another.. I'm LMFAO at this thread. I am female but can not, for the life of me, understand why my fellow-women are so stupid. I would ever dream of stopping any man doing what he wanted to do. I've long been of the opinion that if anyone wants to do something, male or female, who has the right to ask that person not to do it. I think your wife is being stupid as you will only resent her if you stop and how could she live with that - unless ofc she is a control freak, in which case, tell her to sling her hook mate!

This theiving makes me angry and very sad. I realise the owner's must go through hell when this happens but I can't help thinking what goes on in the heads of the innocent animals. Poor beasts taken from what they know to God knows what. -

Brilliant pics man. Now we all know what she looked like, we can kinda remember her too. Thank God you have photos. I constantly take pics of all my pets so that when they go, I can look back.

Hi everyone, I thought i'd say hello as I know no-one is much fond of lurkers but i'm afraid i'll only be lurking here, as I don't hunt nor own any working animals. I joined to, hopefully, be able to see some photos of working dogs for my project this winter. I paint throughout the winter months and unfortuantley this year, due to illness, I didnt get around to taking the usual photos for what I had in mind.
