Hi all, I went to visit my mom for a short while yesterday after work. Took the latest addition to my air rifle collection with, the HW50s (I am really starting to love this little rifle). I took down 3 doves like in the pics and 1 rock pigeon. The rocky I took at 30m with a flat head pellet. Must have been a lucky shot cause they usually crappy after 15m. Unfortunately the evidence all landed in the neighbours yards Could retrieve this one for a foto session Enjoy, Roger!

Hi, Just before I left for work this morning this fella was patroling my lawn. As a good citizen and friend of nature, I made sure that my S400 5.5mm gets some work... I cant tell you guys how cool it looks when you hit a small pest like this with 33.7fpe in .22 at 18m... Enjoy, Roger!

I think Nathan said it. Maybe consider the rabies shot. Other than that you will be fine. We are NOT in a Malaria zone. So that is no problem Roger!

Hi Si, Yes the transport will be airconditioned, but you guys will be here in the winter season. BUT, it does get up to 26degrees during the day in the bushveld. I will work out something for not fishing. The options for the menu are all included. What I meant by option 1, option 2, etc is that you can choose each morning what you want to eat from the above options. If you want yogurt every morning, no probs, bacon and eggs, no probs, etc. That price does include travelling, accommodation, food, etc. I am in Jhb today (work related), tomorrow when Im back I will find out about a fishing sp

Hi Si, I took out most extras. This is an example of the menu. Is this OK? The transport is expensive. Its 260km from me to Jhb and 485km from Jhb to Malta Ranch, from there 180km to Bloemhof dam, from Bloemhof its 320km back to Jhb. I worked on "WORST CASE SCENARIO". Once I have all the prices confirmed I will revise it again. I honestly dont want to take anyones money. Im just trying to do this right. But give me a bit more time. If we all pitch in with the making of the food etc, I can take out the catering as well. This price is for 4 nights on the game farm + 2 nights at blo

Hi Si, In my SA Visit post I quoted 1-2 people = X amount ea & 3-4 people = X amount ea. But I did include alot of extras. I am going to refine it and post it in 30min. I added stuff like "emergency funds" and unforseen "extras". I will refine it and we will do another tally. Sorry for any confusion caused. Now, I have a question... I need to know exactly what you guys expect and would want to eat? I think I went overboard with the extras... Can I post a menu perhaps? Roger!

Hi all, For the peeps interested in the SA Hunting Visit, I made a bad calculation error. I took the total for 4 people, divided it by 4, times 2 (if 2 only people come). Beeeeeg mistake. Travelling, catering, food, etc does not really change between 2 or 4 people. Here is the quote on the current exchange rate. I am still waiting for the quote to fly from Jhb Int to Vryburg VS driving. Also, I am trying to neg better rates. These prices again, are NOT cast in stone. 4 Days Hunting + 2 days fishing, all included as discussed in previous post: 4 people - 950 pounds ea 2 people - 16

Hi all, my friend just phoned. He booked us a spot next to the dam for some fishing and water fowl (duck, geese, etc) shooting. I cant wait, gonna try lamping there for the first time. Will post pics after the weekend. Cheers, Roger!

These where shot with a FAC .20 on a farm by my friend Tinus Henning. The porcupines where shot at night, head shots. The Jackal was shot early morning, side body shot (hit vital organs) Roger!

Hi Si, yes sub 12fpe will be ok. You will be limited to about 35yards and on Guinea fowl (big bird) about 25yards. But for meerkat, feasants & pigeons it will work. My rifles will all be there and can be used freely. No problem. The fishing can be done, with pleasure. I love it as well. I am busy looking at a flight from Jhb -> Vryburg (about 40min drive from malta) VS driving and collection you guys. Cost wise it might even break even and save 3 hours on travelling. More time for hunting!! But I will get back to you on that. I will have 2x cylinders available. A 10L 2
