    i've lost jills to rats but only in large rat sets they can get beat up a bit mind ,smoker and dogs is the best really , the best smoker i have seen is a small two stroke silent run suitcase generator it was fairly light and very quiet you could hear the rats bolting and the dogs didn't seem to miss much with that as with the chainsaw or strimmer type are loud and some long tails can slip away the advertised smokers that i have seen in action are no good

    well done glad you found her there is an unwriten rule that you don't put a ferret to ground after 3 oclock but thats in the dark days of winter you may find that helps i keep it in mind when i'm out

    fill in all the holes over nite then open one up in the morning and call it have a drink ready if its layed up with a kill it will need a drink bad this has worked for me a few times

    wow 100 thats like the nights i've read about in the old days my dogs gonna need more fitness i think got some great permission up in wales this season been up to have a look and there infested so hopeing for numbers as my butchers up for taking some at three pound each

    accidents happen if people can hit deer then whats a ferret , some one ran mates dog over once cause he was thought he was hunting it was 11 and was nearly blind madness
