  1. If the answer feed and water him and give shelter is all the advice you want to give why bother. And if as the other guy says what you were really saying was that there are different ways to feed and water a working dog why did he not explain that. And also you seem to think thats what he meant why did you not explain. Got to be honest i aint been on here long but i notice every time someone asks a question or makes a comment they get a cocky remark. WHY

  5. I like to go after 12 dont have to travel far can lamp rabbits from my door step!! Then its around my own land for 2-3 hrs. The birds are always singing when i get into bed. Still i prefer the birds to the owl that has set up camp this year in an oak tree 20 feet from bedroom window!!
  6. How old would you consider retiring a lurcher?? Ours is six - seven years old now we had her about 3 years ago. The thing is she is a pet as well sleeps on the bottom of bed and spends all day on sofa, my wife loves her to bits and dog goes everywhere with her. Now the problem i have is started taking her out on the lamp again this year and today she is all stiff and sore wife says thats it she aint going out no more to work. We had a few discusions on this throughout the summer so its not a surprise. I would have loved to have bred her the year after we had her but wife put a stop to tha

Had exactly same thing happened to me her back legs were paralysed, IF i remember was about a week before she could stand unaided and a couple of weeks before could get up one step, she was also have a bugger of a time havin a pee or the like. Then she took about a month to get back to norm. But that was well early in the year so i gave her 6 months rest. Bit of a bugger this time of the year
