What were the fors and against for them they look a handy type

My mate has one. they have brilliant feet and very intelligent . Can take a good knock a good hardy type. He reckons it’s just the top end speed the dog lacks . I m going to use him across my lads whippet bitch .

  2. They last a nights lamping which I doubted before I got one . No foot problems so far and no bother in the cold . She s had some good knocks but just got herself up and kept running. Their only down side is their size and weight , but my lad keeps reminding me she s a whippet not a bull cross lol . Can t help myself sometimes it’s just habit owning heavy dogs for years. When I see eyes in the lamp to just slip the dog . He s bollocked me loads of times

  3. My best all round dog was a 5/8 x 3/8 . We were out a lot at night, then he was out with the terriers Saturday and a foot pack Sunday’s . Whatever you threw at him he d do it . Was a handy dog on an earth and lamped off the lead, really obedient. When I put him down to old age I had dogs with a higher bull percentage ie first crosses and reverse 5/8 x 3/8  . All game but none as good all rounders as my old dog . I tried 3 3/4 gh x 1/4 bulls. They could all shift but had no bottle . Yes you d have foxes with em but they were vocal when they got bit and fxxxed about with stuff when a bit sore .

Wish our Morrison’s priced like that. Beef bones are £4 and lamb bones £3 . No where near that size tray either

I'll be trying a 13 year old virgin stud when this bitch I've got here next breaks down. Have wanted to get something off him for years now but things just never fell into place so will be keeping my fingers crossed but not that hopeful if I'm honest.

I would nt hold my breath mate tbh. Is there nothing decent about by the dogs litter brother or sister

  6. Nothing to do with being less of a digging man . I used to be out a lot over a lot of ground and had 2 steady workers and 2 mute mid tube jobs. My mate had a few dogs so we alternated . If I only had rough dogs I would have needed a lot of dogs to get round the digging I did. A rough dog will obviously get way less graft than a steadier dog who can be dug a few times a day . But u have to work with what u have. If someone wants to keep 20 terriers good luck to em. Each individual dog won t get the digs under his belt unless the owner has a shit load of digging and no work or nagging mrs lol.
