  1. Its been a long time since Ive owned a terrier but i think i did my fair share off digging Can one off the Experts please explain to me after a dig how to you get to grips with it ?? with out a dog

Does seem a bit tight to be handling, but if you never noticed they usually seem to take hold if a terrier is up close and personal if a terrier sits back it just gets peppered! Get a decent stick put it to old red, with the business end occupied. Pick your moment and get in close and personal! Seen it done many time in tricky situations, got to be fast though!

  2. Bud the beast how did his leg shape up mate, you just using him on digs or is he still coursing!! Will still be in shape for big rats surely :p and im sure this picture was when he was about 8-9months I remember the location he never looked back! Have you not let him line a decent bitch yet something a bit lighter not much, would throw some good pups back with a bit of luck! When you back home? long time no see, could do with a catch up and a few digs!

  3. Lads iv got a mate who has a top class fell bitch.4 years old hard worked. An excellent bitch who was dug yesterday after staying for 4 and a half hours. He was thinking of breeding from her when she breaks in the next few months. This bitch hunts above and below ground. Is there any point in breeding from her or is the market saturated as it is!!!

people are selling shit thats never worked so `` why not `` at least its been to ground and sin summat more than what most a shit that gets sold an half a shit dealers flog on art of shit under there own names and if they are any good you waint have to advertise em will ya lol

Heard this one the other day! Some lad has a dog that apparently a hell of a dog being talked about all over never heard of it myself, when asked what age and how many times it been to ground and dug he said 5 times and was guna breed from her at 2yrs old! For fucks sake the pup has seen more than 2x that and has just started! Some people think they have a world beater after a few digs!

    On topic! Your decision mate!

  4. Last season, we done the same earth for weeks upon weeks every sunday, big spot and acoounted for one or more charlie everytime! This season hasnt been to bad either even though other things are taking it over, not without a fight! But charlie have decided the earth about 40 meters away is there new home, thats been a productive one this season!

  5. 18k a week to 90k a week dropping the number 9 and all the fans, he done well at Newcastle, but hopefully someone breaks his legs before long! I was laughing at the liverpool fans on Sky Sports! Theres only one Andy carrol they sound like a bunch of girl;s with that scouse accent!

  6. Pm dogs N natives, i know you two have been intouch and been out a few times, Jamie2004live lined a beagel with his russel! should make cracking bushing dogs, that terrier met his first fallow deer 3 weeks ago, and was collected 3 days later from a cat and dog shelter. Now thats some fuckeing hunt!

  7. Well here goes, im not a sheep and my opinion!

Ive a very light coloured bitch, and my mate runs his dark bitch. What you lot are saying and what i will say arent FACTS just what ive noticed or you have! We are out, and spot charlie its his turn, so i step back into the cover so the bitch carnt be spotted by charlie or whatever quarry, charlie comes in very close job done, now its my turn and stand that dog next to me in field and charlie is spooked way before he gets as close as prefered. Im not talking just this one im talking any quarry rabbit hare roe fox the darker dog has a better tally and from my experience its down to colour. The darker dog seem to get the advantage by getting closer to quarry the the lighter coloured dog! What i said is not based on one night lamping or one season, its years, but noticing there is a problem, and trying to adress it was hard! being out night after night with a darker dog! Makes you wonder! JMO maybe i smell or something and i never get a fair chance but hey makes you think! I know i few people that think the darker dog is a better companion with higher catch rates in the field!

  8. Good post lads at least your out doing it, unlike the majority on here. Fair play for letting it run for another day! And you may understand why its best to keep a day out as a memory for yourself instead of sharing it on here! Good on you for letting it run  .We got 6 of a possible 8 on sunday good day cracking pic's but like shite will i post on here! Lucky to get 6 decent replies for your time! Your better of on the lurcher section arguing about bull x vs collie cross there more interested in that shite!

  9. Dont realy need to go far from my door to bag 20 rabbits, even though they are being thin'ed out by a shooter that seems to be turning up. From what i see on the lamp he isnt doing the job well! I could travel 30-40 mile and still a lot of bunnies around, few years ago we were out (off permission) Im not joking this place was riddled with bunnies in there 1000s from the road side, right to the top of the fell. Haven't been there for a while because the old bill got on top but i heard the numbers had been well thinned there down to maybe 10 bunnies a field which was a huge drop. But i dont have much problem finding rabbit hare deer fox etc there's plenty! Location never never land before anyone asks!
