  2. I share mine with my dad but we have all rifles and shotguns on both certs as shared. This has been agreed by our department.
  3. Done and positive comment made, I've been a subscriber of your channel for a while and think your vids are some of the best!
  4. I've got one as well mate can't fault it's accuracy out to 75yards it would probably do more with some more practice but I won't shoot quarry any further than 75yards with it and that would be on a still day! The trigger is the only gripe I have as it is heavy but there are cheap kits which are meant to be fantastic but I haven't got around to getting one yet. On the whole though it's a cracking little rifle not too heavy and with a mod on relatively quiet.
  5. It should be listed seperately, a Mod on a Firearm is a Firearm in it's own right and gets it's own entry. You can swap a 1 for 1 Moderator, for a rifle, on a free variation. If it were listed as part of a rifle you are stuck, but I do understand the odd FAC tool may well have a FIXED moderator, so may just be listed in the way you mention! Ok thanks for that, I doubt i'll be looking to change it any time soon but thats kind of cleared it up. I'll check with my FLO before doing anything though. Cheers Adam
  6. I don't want to hijack the thread but what happens if on your ticket it states .22rf and then says +mod as opposed to having a mod listed as another entry with its own id number? In this case can you surrender the mod you have to a gun shop and buy another from them without a variation? cheers Adam
  7. Hi mate thought I would just add, try identifying a sitty tree. Half an hour watching to see which tree the birds use (generally either, one of the larger trees on the egde of a row or wood, or a single tree in a hedge row or field) can pay off more for the air rifle as they tend to land in these trees to scout out the area before going in to feed. If you get it right then you'll have more brids to shoot at than ever! Good luck pal Adam
  8. hi Adam hows it going? are you still air gunning? regards davy Hi Davy, yeah I'm still doing a bit with the air gun, I got my FAC a few months ago so have been using the .22lr recently had four squizzers thismorning in fact. Only problem I have is with uni I don't get to shoot as often as I would like (today was the first time for about a month and a half). I see your still getting out, keep up the scope cam shooting I like watching your's and zini's vids and reading your write ups very entertaining! Adam
  9. From memory this rifle is owned by a guy on the BBS that switched the barrel and cylinder for a 410K set and had the whole lot dipped by hydrographics. He spend a fair bit getting it set up. adam
  10. Black stock pouch as new bit dusty, zipped pocket and 2 bullet holders that can be removed or swapped the big one will fit 12g carts in. only got it last week but it wasn't quite right for the job I had in mind so £15 posted. paypal or cheque picture picture
  11. sold - HW100tk .177 quick fill 2008 model - HW Silencer - Neoprene camo sling/swivles, studs fitted - rifle slip I brought the rifle second hand last may. It has been well looked after, there are three small marks on the stock and the butt pad is slightly rubbed but these are very small cosmetic faults on a hunting rifle. I get around 50 full powered shots from a charge and it is very accurate. It will come with one mag, the quick fill and the brass bits for taking the cylinder off. Price £490 ono, I will consider any offers, the worst I can say is no;) Face to face only
  12. Had my fac/sgc delivered by hand yesterday so he could check my new cabinet first. Got all that i applied for .22, .17, .22air and .270 with a mentoring condition on the .270 which is not a problem. So looks like i've got some money to spend! Im thinking of getting the .22 first and maybe a second hand fac air! It was a long process but i got there in the end.
  13. Thanks Snap, good advice there, I've got a bit to learn about big guns as it were compared to my air rifles but I'm always sure to make all shots safe. I can't wait to start a new chapter in my shooting career. Adam
  14. Well it's been around five weeks since the paper work went in, got the call yesterday to ask if the FLO could come round today. So he turned up bang on time, we had an informal chat he filled out a few forms, a quick look at the safe and that was that, he says there isn't any reason, that he can see, for me not to be granted all of what I asked for perhaps with a 12month condition on the centre fire for my dad to mentor me, but the .22 fac air, .22rf and .17 all with mods shouldn't be a problem and the shotguns would be fine as well. My certs should arrive early to mid september! I'm well plea
  15. Love the look of that mate! Seeing what he's done to a few of the boys rifles on here think I may get in touch for a service and clean up for a couple of mine when I've got the readies. Adam
  16. I'm pretty sure it's 8 four for each cert then two signed by yourself one done by each ref for the FAC and one signed by the ref for the shotgun cert. That's what i've sent in but i'm pretty sure that's the way it was meant to be done. Hope it helps Adam
  17. Well I've had a letter to say my application has been recieved and the cheque has been cashed so all I need now is the phone call for my interview I really can't wait, got a brand spanking new safe at the start of the week so its all looking good. Cheers Adam
  18. cheers guys, thanks for the heads up hopefully it wont take too long then.
  19. Well I printed off the application forms for my FAC/SGC in February and after one thing and another they went into a pile of things to do and I didn't get round to it until last week. Got them all filled out photos ref forms ect. and they have been sent in so fingers crossed it won't be too long before I get a call but playing the waiting game now. Adam
  20. yes you can the stocks are interchangeable. Adam
  21. The HW ones are regarded as the best by alot of people so it may be that you being close to the gun while firing hear the extra noise i.e. hammer spring ect that someone next to you or 30yards down range will not. try getting someone else to fire it while you stand away from the gun to see if it really is worth changing the silencer. if its that loud maybe you need to change an oring somewhere which may be letting some air out causing the extra noise. Adam
