    mate if i was you id try and get permission before you get ferrets or dogs theres nothing worse than having your workers locked up with no were to hunt its not fair on the animal :thumbs:

    I definately prefer ferreting with a dog than without, if you got a dog that marks can be invaluable. Likes been said don't have to be a lurcher my jack russel marks well and is good at catching hole hoppers but lacks the speed needed to catch runners. I've got a beddy whippet whos coming on well and will catch the runners. If it's not for pest control and you don't mind missing a few theres nothing better than no nets and a running dog great to see them work like that.

    thanks lads i would prefer something smaller ,would you say the collie stuff would be easy to train?

  12. A FEW FACTS ABOUT WORMERS

    i have a 12 week old lab pup and have wormed him with johnsons puppy worming syryp but still no sign of any worms he does not have pot belly but his back end looks a little thin i cant up his food anymore as it gives him the shits any advice would be greatly appreciated forgot to add i have been worming him every fortnight

    my 4 pups are the same age and the same with them have them on greyhound puppy mince and have wormed them out a few times now 1st time was around 5 weeks and the worms flew out with in a hour or so was told the where milk worms for my bitch they have been wormed out a few times after but cant get the weight on the back doing my head in.

    hi fellas i can recomend drontal ,i wormed my whippet pup with panacure 2 or 3 weeks ago and this week pup was biting his backside then my daughter took the pup outside to clean himself and she saw worms in his poo ,got some drontal and i have never seen so many worms thankfully all dead, from now on drontal for me,cheers shaun.

    hi fellas just reading this post duramitex is it for birds ,and if so how do you use on dogs cheers shaun.

    dilute with water in a spray bottle i think its hard to get hold of now

    seen it on ebay,just my son bought a lurcher a couple of weeks ago and its started losing its fur around its back legs,thought it might be mange, cheers lads.
