I have been rough shooting fo years now i want to have a go at duck shooting .So can anyone tell me the best times to go.

Rough shooting is a wide spectrum. Can you describe what you want your dog to do -mostly eg hunting up game/fur/vermin for you or retrieving or both. Also the type of ground you will be shooting on - eg thick heavy cover,hedgerows upland moors as this will influence the best type of dog . i want the dog for flushing out game.and the terrane is heges manly
