  1. What a load of dog sh%t. I am the proud owner of a French bred jagdterrier and she is perfect for my needs (blood tracking deer and a bit of picking up). At 10 months she came 3rd in the best of breed in the Champion de France dog show. She is a working dog bred to hunt wild boar and fox underground I do agree that they can be a bit big for ground work but this does not stop them from hunting fox and badger in Germany or France or the rest of Europe for that matter, in fact the day I picked her up from France her father pulled a fox from a hole.   4. Hi all (new member) Never done this before who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I'm into rifle shooting (deer stalking , target and rabbit) I also do a bit of long netting amongst other things but I'm cr%p with a shotgun although I can do pretty well with the clays on the right day. anyway that's me, looking forward to being part of the forum Garrick
