    pulsar l808 lasers work well.805 flashlight little range and a 940 nm one little better and is generally used as it is supposed to be invisible to human eye.better off with a n100ap imho.

    just googled for LYLEVALE Express Shotgun Cartridges Supreme Game 30g 6s 65 mm ( 2.5" )Fibre Wad Box of 250.available in allcocks .size 6 means the pellet size and if they are these cartridges then these are designed primarily as description says for game ie rabbbit pidgeon etc.other people have suggested other sizes on here with reccomendations of no 3 - bb.these will cause more damage and are more suitable for a fox and at a further range , but only you can decide.atb

    if you,ve never used a shotgun it might be a good idea to practice with this gun first ,before you actually shoot at a live target.get to know how it handles ,the safety ,etc.if its a single you may need a follow up so quick reloading technique will be useful . you could also possibly put ap a fox sized target to get the pattern of the cartidge you are going to use to get an idea of the spread which will ultimately dictate the max range.as been said a broadside side shot is best with the major organs at the front.a stil target is easier than a moving one so a bit of patience wil be required

    from personal experience i have had more trouble with the sling studs in the stock coming out than a strap failing.as these studs are only screwed in ( would be a better idea imho to be bolted right through the stock in the front and some sort of bonded resin in the rear stud to stop it spinning round and falling out ) there are some situations where the actual sling is useful when crossing fences,streams ,boggy ground ,rocks etc where the sling has enabled me to access better and safer as you have 2 free arms for stability.if your hands are full and you slip you cant stop yourself falling. p

    a lot of things come into the equation when buying a scope 1 budget . 2 day or night or both . 3 calibre ( airgun,rimfire or centrefire ) . 4 max distances you are likely to shoot .etc these are just a rough list to consider. i shoot at night and my scope is always left at 7 ( 3 x 9 x 50 burris ).reason being i read an article in a gun magazine trying to explaining the myths /misconceptions of scope sizes regarding light.what came out of the tests was an adults eye pupil max diameter was around 7 mm so that was the max ammount of light which could enter the eye irrespective of scope objectiv

    imho best lamp for distance and hand held is a lightforce blitz 240 ( 240mm head ) and second is a lightforce striker 170 ( 170 mm head ) if gun mounted a striker 170. the big difference with the bulb is a vertical element will usually give you a tighter beam as opposed to a horizontal element., and a zenon bulb wiil be brighter and clearer than a halogen.also another thing for distance is to fine tune the focussing.hope this helps.
