I've just joined this forum. I do not hunt yet, but do feed my suburban-living cats hunted or farmed animals that I process. I just bought some rabbits, and skinned the 1st one. I'd like to not waste this incredibly thick fur. After reading many suggestions online, I like the looks of this suggestion for preserving & keeping the fur soft.
My question: Can I just put the skin in the frige until I can get out (probably tomorrow) to get the materials to deal with this and the other 2 hides? I wouldn't even mind freezing it, to have a better chance of keeping rotting at bay. Any thoughts/rec
