Fagin: good choice. That's one on the short list for my next pup.
Re human names for dogs: my brother and I were chatting once about how some human names fit dogs and others don't and we tried to think of the least dog-like human names...as a result my last lurcher (Moss) ended up with the nickname Trevor and my kelpie pup (Rusty) ended up as Terry (because he was chocolate and orange!).
All my dogs got human names really , I've a reggie,Ronnie, duke , hector, Lexy and jess lol

Where abouts are you mate ? I'm in Ayrshire and looking for another gun dog, my cocker 12 this year and got a lab bitch and a young lab but could be doing with something else for next season , dogging in etc

Worked a treat on my dog, think it's pretty common , look at greyhound racing , a bet 2 out of the 6 starters will have same problem
The stuff you're after is called Cornucrescine, it's a hoof ointment, I've used it in the past for the same thing.
Stockholm tar ?Get to Gibbs and get the stuff for horses hoofs , can't remember the name of it but it in a jar and is black like tar , should do the job
-
If I remember right the stuff helped horses hoofs grow or some shit like that but defo done the job for the baldy back legs
-
Don't think it's Stockholm tar , can't remember what it's called , had same problem with my old dog few years ago and got the stuff and it worked wonders

I've heard good and bad about those champex things, my headkeeper stopped with those with no problem but heard bad horror stories too . Niquitin tablets not capsules they come in a little tub

Don't drink much to be fair and wasn't really a heavy smoker . A smoked the e cig for the guts of a year then back on the cigs so think il just chuck it all together and see how I go

Any of you guys tried the patches or the niquitin capsules ? Stopped for a few month on the vape pen but started smikjbg the odd cigarette or two. Bought a packet of cigs earlier for the missus and the packet was black with health warnings and not so nice images . Me and missus have both said were stopping now and I'm getting rid of the vape pen also . Just wondered if the patches worked or capsules were worth a go before a go cold turkey lol
-
My missus is spot on , don't bother if am out wae terriers and she contacts me she just wants to know how the dogs are getting on lol . Could lamp
7 nights a week and there wouldn't be a problem . She's great with kids aswell.
