How did you find packing up.?

I’d tried a couple of times in the past with no success mate but this time it was almost as though I didn’t think about it and that worked.

Mrs just bought home one of those vapes and said try that and that was it, never touched another fag.

I deliberately kept it horrible by not having all those fancy flavour liquids, just plain old tobacco flavour in a simple little vape that’s about the size of a pen  (not one of those ridiculous walkie talkie jobs).

Never a bother, I wouldn’t touch another fag now again.

Think it might be a labour win but without enough of a majority to do anything or a coalition have never known a period were people have been more disconnected in politics then there’s the big question wether sir Nigel throws his hat into the ring as well, think civil war is our only real hope now sadly we have gone to far down the globalist path to turn round without a total reset but hey once the moneys in the bank and houses are all gone  I will be totally detached from all of that, just need to get a 50cal on the front of my ship

I think Farage has said he is decamping to America to help Trump, don’t blame him, waste of time staying and putting up with the 6 weeks of the same crap only for the British people to do exactly the same again.

  3. A general election is all pretty underwhelming right at this moment……we all know it’s going to be the red traitors turn at the gallows of Britain, we all know it’s going to be a land slide, we all know we will have the arse bored off us by people discussing the merits of AIDS v Cancer Labour or Tory for the next 6 weeks or whatever it is.

Im normally quiet chirpy and hopeful (hard to believe I know !) at times of election thinking “Maybe this time” but given recent council election results we all know that Joe Public will just commit social, cultural and genetic suicide again……..how many times will people allow the product of their work  to be stolen, how many kids have to get stabbed to death, how many green fields have to get paved over, how many young girls have to get gang raped, have many areas have to be made unfit to live in, how much debt do we allow them to force down our throats, how much abuse will the indigenous tolerate…..I guess the answer is any amount.

f**k the election and all who sail in it !

  4. I packed up a few years ago (5 or 6) but I don’t know how people can afford it today, someone told me a packet of Bensons is like €18 or something ?

I mean, I suppose it’s all relative and the same could have been said when I was still smoking……don’t miss it mind you and I loved a snout and a mug of tea.

I was a committed 40 a day smoker for over 30 years but i was very fit and getting away with it, no such luxury in retirement so no point in being silly about it……I still use a vape which is probably just as bad but I don’t feel as bad that’s for sure and it costs me €12 a week.

I've contacted reform numerous times to say I'll help locally....I'll print and deliver leaflets and get some signs up. Never get any reply

Unless you are vetted to within an inch of your life and found to be just “beige” then even Reform don’t want you.

Just shows the power that the “tolerant”  people have, look at the AFD, a few wrong phrases from some members, a meeting attended that may be ill considered and bang !!…..the full weight of the state and the law lines up against you.

    Worrying times mate

Ten Haag is as good as anyone I guess. Whether his man management is suspect I don't know. He fell out with Sancho and Rashford. But that could be because they are spoilt brat multi_ millionaires. Antony was a gross waste of  money  so that's a monkey on his back.Whatever the truth, I think the new management structure at Utd will demand a new face at the helm.

The problem for Pochetino at Chelsea was he wanted to be head chef but the management structure and owners also wanted to be  head chefs.

Modern management needs a man who has a big enough personality to handle overpaid, poorly motivated players as well as liaise with technical directors, sporting directors, owners and God knows who else.

I was looking at the wages bill at West Ham and Wolves. Both Moyes and your new man achieved a league position consistent with their wages bill. So last season  both were adequate managers. No  more no less. But  Moyes  over achieved in the two years before this season. Not dramatically, but a few places up the league than West Ham should have been according to their wage bill.

I don't know anything about your new man other than  he was goalie for Real Madrid. Presumably he must have had a successful spell in Spain before the Wolves job.

I got a tip off about Potechino to United from a friend who got it from a member of the coaching staff at Utd. I'll  believe it when I collect my 500 notes.

Here’s one for you mate, in the last 5 years West Ham spent 10 million more than Liverpool and a 100 million more than Wolves ;)

I put a tenner on Pochetino to Man Utd at 50/ 1. The odds are dropping dramatically. No begging PMs if it happens please.

You not a fan of Ten Haag then mate ?

Personally I’m glad to see the back of dismal Dave but I’m pretty underwhelmed at Lopertuigi (spel ?)……..only because I know nothing about him so I’ll wait and see what type of football he wants to play and that will take a season or so (if he gets that long in the football world)

Klopp is a fine example of how personality counts when you lead groups of blokes……I think if Ten Haag came across as having a bigger personality people would like him more because I don’t actually think he has done that badly with a club that had poison poured in the well (jmho as an outsider)

A measure of what he is dealing with is when the likes of Rashford is getting left out of the England side but Ten Haag is meant to shit miracles with him ?……makes you think don’t it.

“pick your sploits up off the stairs or you’ll get paggered “

Your accent is pretty soft, it’s not harsh like Yorkshire or unintelligible like Newcastle.

Essex when you hear this modern drivel (“alright fella” !!! People who say that should be thrown in the sea !) sounds f***ing terrible, but old Essex would sound very much like Norfolk or Suffolk today.

The London accent is being lost under a wave of this shit fake wog patois and put on yuppie uni tripe.

    Birmingham…..well, f**k sake like !

If only you could find a Labour politician with any commitment to making ordinary people's lives better. The current crop of Labour wannabes are a slippery bunch of non committals.

Christopher Hitchens, the elder brother of Pete,r had a much sharper brain than his brother imo and was a first class debater. He's also written books well worth a read.

Again my opinion, Peter Hitchens reminds me of an hysterical tory lady moaning about a lot of inconsequential crap. I think these old ladies are his intended audience.

The Daily Mail has recruited some fine right wing minds to write drivel in the manner of Hitchens. I never thought Andrew Neil would stoop to earning coin from the Daily Mail. But I suppose "where theres muck theres brass."

The daily Mail (like most of the press it seems these days) are absolute scum !
Like, on another level type scum.

They couldn’t wait to hound to death English lads and sacrifice them at the altar of Saint Doreen of Eltham……as in it’s been a lifetime of persecution at every turn and all quietly encouraged by our own people who believe the crap these people write.

I agree, anyone who takes the coin from filth like them deserves to be viewed with suspicion…..I just used him as an example of how people can change their thinking.

Another over entitled, over opinionated woman, with probably no idea what the history of the “Middle East problem” is and most likely couldn’t point to Gaza on a map !

Just another revolutionary student who will probably grow up to be a Labour politician….

    Just my opinion, of course.

    Cheers.

id rather me daughter go work in a 9 to 5 then go and listen to the shite they are peddling

It’s not just university mate, it starts in infant school……university indoctrinated NQTs spewing main party social engineering propaganda.

As I always say to people, go and be a voice in these establishments because by the time they get to uni it’s too late to have a voice and the cards will just fall wherever they fall.

these are your educated people chart i told you not long ago what type go to university

to go and do well you have to be able to listen and repeat not think for yourself mate

there all the same away with the fairy’s

While I think there are sinister forces behind the current insanity we are being peddled everywhere, I also think it’s the most natural thing in the world for young people to form opinions, buy into ideology’s, think, progress, double down, regress…..it’s the natural path of life.

Who out of any of us can say they still hold the same view about every single thing that they held when they was 18 or 20 ?……views are changing all the time as you gain more experience, more knowledge and more kicks in the teeth.

Nature always prevails, it’s just a question of how insane things have to get to restore the natural order and some sanity imho

Indeed, Peter Hitchens was a Trotskyist dyed in the wool red atheist as a young man and gradually shifted to a church going Christian Conservative in later life……there’s plenty we don’t or can’t see as young people and we are all a genius with hindsight.

    Religion =b#llocks !

Don't need that shite to live a decent life ,a way of dividing up people and causing conflict ,on a lesser scale footie fans ,hate their rivals ,with a passion ,don't know the answer and only guess it will get way way worse ,

Animals by and large are tribal, we see it everywhere in nature and that is by design.

Human beings have the brain to get by in some measure with those outside of their tribe but that will never erase the tribal instinct that is embedded in the very core of their dna when push comes to shove.

Tribes and tribes within tribes, difference and defence against difference is as natural to us as breathing…..or we’d have all he wiped out millennia ago.

As we see all the time in nature other “tribes” are different, not good different or bad different but just different and that different will subsume and devour your unique “tribe” if you let it.

People gravitate towards tribes because it’s the most natural thing for them to do.

We talk all the time about our culture and our values and our heritage, well that’s all the things we like about our tribe and we rightly want to preserve and defend it because otherwise we are gone, that filters down to sub levels of religion, class, sport, area etc etc

Organised religion and people who follow it are not weird, in fact it’s the most natural thing in the world.

Im not a fan of organised religion personally because I think like most organised things it’s too easily bought and exploits and betrays those who have traditionally supported it.

The Muslim is on another level, it’s so much more than just a religion…..it’s his whole life, his whole way of being, it’s his brotherhood that transcends everything else and it will eat everything in its path if we let it.

    Fair comment.lol

The idea came to me from a particular type of fishing I do in an estuary.  We have a written rule which states no fishermen is allowed to fish less than 250 yards in front of another fishermen.Theres always heated rows on what constitutes 250 yards. Often I've seen a fisherman count the steps in the sand of a guy in front. Usually there are 250 steps but if those 250 steps are repeated by another fishermen there's a huge difference between them based on stride length.

    I'll er get my coat.

We had a ref this year who constantly walked 8 strides for every free kick, in the end we were shouting from the sideline counting them out…..comical !

Not phased, just carried on walking out the 8 strides ! Lol

  18. 51 minutes ago, jukel123 said:

Here's a thought. Players are required to retreat 10 yards for a free kick. But 10 yards is never properly measured. The referee walks 10 paces. Or 9.1 metres in Europe. But referees have different lengths of stride. A little fella's stride might only be 2/3 of a big bloke's stride. What the f**k does it matter I hear you say. Well when a wall is created for a free kick the difference of a perhaps a metre in the distance of the wall matters a lot when a player is trying to bend or dip the ball. They could use a laser measurement. Sorted. Some will say ffs we've got enough interfering technology but to me its fairer.

Go and have a word with yourself young man !

I absolutely do, and have debated the state of the EPL on here before. Probably accused clubs of selling their soul, where in reality it’s been slowly pilfered away by people whose only motive is to maximise profit and market share and who give zero fcuks for the man on the terracing or the integrity of the actual sport. The game changed forever with the advent of subscription tv early 90’s. Apparently the EPL is now the ‘best league in the world’. I don’t dispute that it has some of the very best players and managers in the game.., a game which has changed a fair bit tactically and with all the sport science, better playing surfaces, effective removal of the contact element etc. in recent years…, I’m not convinced it’s altogether a better spectacle. And as for the best league.., English teams have won the CL/EC 7 times in the last 30 years.., 8 times in the 30 before that. Measured against the best of the rest has English football really got better? What is clear is that the spread of clubs and leagues which can win the CL is diminishing (4 countries in the last 20 years) and that trend will continue now as the richest clubs and leagues are allowed to monopolise these competitions via their huge revenue streams. That to me is to the detriment of sporting integrity and sport as a whole. If that is lost then the game is fcuked.

    Good post that mate.

I suppose watching premier league football is like watching champions league or the World Cup, it’s so far removed from the actual flesh & bones of the game that we are really just watching to see all the best players.

However I think most of us knew years ago the course it’s on won’t be stopping because Fred Bloggs has been going down there 50 year.

I don’t agree that the game is f****d, you know yourself there are hundreds of thousands of ordinary men and women out every weekend and a few nights a week helping youngsters fall in love with playing, playing themselves, going and watching the local team or the Sunday morning teams over the park……real football people at real football, they are the lifeblood of the game because the young Ronaldo or Zidane or Rooney or whoever never gets to see the Champions league or the Premier league unless some volunteer somewhere puts them in their first game for their first team at 5 years old.
