Haha mine get scraps (when there's any left!!!) lol My dogs love veg, in fact there's only one of them that's even remotely a fussy eater.
-
Yeah I've started just bones every couple of days or so and they are fine now. I've always fed the dogs on complete and only the tiny bits of meat every now and then and since I've switched to more meat and less complete I honestly can't believe the difference in coat, condition and general well being of the dogs. I certainly won't be going back now :-)

Thanks for that sometimes there stools are white in colour I tend to not give them bones for a couple of days and it goes to normal straight away. I need to find a local supplier of good mince really as I'm currently just using supermarket and butchers and boy am I feeling it when there's 5 hungry mouths to feed lol.

Don't know what happened there I shall take of where my phone decided to post They also have a lot of work so want to make sure I'm going enough but not to much. Lastly I promise, what sort of veg or supplements should I be adding to make the diets the best they can be, I do every now and then give the dogs a raw carrot to chew on and also sometimes add carrots, broccoli so on to there feeds but I am unsure of what veg or extras are ok and what ain't ok. Any advice much appreciated Thanks in advance FMG

Hi all Bit of advice needed. I feed my dogs raw meat and bones regularly sometimes with a bit of dry complete to bulk it out. First question. Can you give dogs to much bone or is bone (with meat on) ok to give everyday, although I tend to have a few days with just the frozen packets of say chicken and tripe, they do like their meat on bones. Also when feeding raw rabbit can you leave skin on or is it preferable to skin the rabbit as well? Never fed the dogs raw rabbit but I do like to vary their diet as much as possible like chicken, tripe, lamb, pork so any new meats to add

And wilf are you saying you have never passed on a dog that doesn't do what you want or suit you but you know damn well that they will do right for someone else? Because if you have then yes you have a right to say things but you don't know me, you don't know the dog and you don't know who she's gone to. I sure as hell do not know of one single person who works their dogs and expects the dog to do a job that suits them, that hasn't had to part with one on the way. So thanks for your very knowlageble advise on how this dog will get passed about but I think your very wrong

And why would I keep a bitch get her spayed for her to be stuck in a kennel not doing the work she wants to do. Anyone that works dogs and says they have never had to not get rid of one because it didnt suit them and what they do chats a load of shit. And quite frankly I couldn't give a shit if it pisses you off not your dog so not your problem. At the end of the day if no one sold dogs no one would ever get one would they!!! Oh and by the way the bitch has found a good home which will be much better suited for her where she will be more of a pet with a little bit of rabbiting to be had. G -
Thanks she's got a home now
-
Thanks for that but the bitch is safe and happy where she is for now until a suitable home is found. Still getting the work put in front of her even if I do want the bitch gone as soon as I can I am not one to leave her stuck in a kennel doing naff all until one is found. Thanks

Why put to sleep a healthy young bitch that will do well by someone if it was shit yes I agree but she's not and not everyone who gets a dog free is an idiot :-) a dog will get passed about whether someone paid 100 quid for her or nothing!!

Thanks for that mars

If someone wants this bitch they can have her I need her gone really. Had the bitch out rabbiting last night she's picking it up quick caught a couple, retrieves (not live though) to hand. She doesn't like letting her catch go though!! She will make a good bitch for someone that wants to put the time into her she is running the beam now and I've had her lamping around horses no bother. Also this bitch has been doubled up and showing promise. I am not selling this bitch as a singl handed world beater - hence the price!!! I am not saying she will not do it in time to come but I am selling her as -

Hi For sale 20 month old bitch as above. 23 inch, brindle in colour. Bitch hasn't done an awful lot but has been ran out of a vehicle and walking. I bought the bitch not long back but she isn't what I want, and also I have dogs, never run bitches and having a bitch in season next to my dogs has reminded me why!! She seems a very promising bitch and I did a bit with her before she came into season so she would need fitting up again. The bitch personally isnt fast enough for me although she does and will catch. Shes fearless when out working although is nervy with other dogs when first m
