  3. Just been getting my self a new pup and have noticed some bald bits on her legs and she is scratching a lot in that area. The pups were kept on sawdust so i was thinking her skin was just dry so bought a spray for her but dosent seem to helping do any of you have any idea what it could it be? Thanks ferret_uk

  8. Just wondered if any of your lads have bred greenie mules, I keep gloster fife few britsh and foreign and next year am breeding some greenie mules. Norwich hen x Greenie cock ( fifes as fosters) andone got some pics of there greenie crosss?
  9. Many of you lads/lasses keep aviary birds? i currently have a stud of fife canaries as was intrested in starting to show them at a few open cbs shows. Thinking about breeding a few mules this year aswell but need more info before i start
  10. Both jills were well fed before been put together. The new jill was really shocked by the other jill grabbing her and even let off her stink
  11. Thanks for your replys. I done as said and swopped bedding about in the hutches and put cages near each other then today i showed my jill the new jill and she didnt take no intrest when i had hold of it but as soon as i put them down my jill grabbed it
  12. its shame to hear that. I am wanting to get mine from my allotment as they is been a few people helping there self there and want a kit box at the back of my house only thing is birds landing on house roofs! dont really want that
  13. I have checked the jill and cannot see any visible problems. She will be sprayed tomorrow and i will introduce the bitches and hopefully they wont fight. Am also wondering what you guys think about putting a harness on the jills during the day and tether them in the garden as i hate them been stuck in there cages and my new court is not built yet as i moved houses thanks

    Rollers

    Any of you lads keep rollers or tumblers? am after building a kit box so i can get my kit out of the allotment.
  16. just a quick queastion. I have a few rat live traps around my aviary in the garden and when i checked it i had caught a ferret. The jill was really under weight so i have housed her on here own and feeding her plenty to build her up. I have a jill polecat and was wondering if it would be possible to put these together.     Canarys

    Just wodering if any of you lot breed canarys. Due to moving house my avairy had 2 be taking down and all my birds were caged up. My canary's were paired in a cage and the hen layed 4 eggs but the nest fell and eggs were broken. I was told to take the cock bird and place in sepreate cage near her. If i do this will my hen lay again once i introuduce the cock bird? thanks ferret_uk
