    Rabbits dont really have the capacity to suss out a dogs running-style,with dogs its just hard and fast,thats a running dogs style,rabbits educate to the beam in heavily lamped areas,first flicker acriss a field and they high-tail it for cover. what about other animals foxes used to suss a dogs style out wells that a fox everyone no's how clever and sly one is. mackem is right

    anyone from lincoln/grimsby area fancys letting me tag along on a day digging exchanged for a night lamping lol? av got a patt that i need to get going this season his around 18month now so he should be up for it, seen a few things but need to go out with some more expeirance dogs, and people who no what there doing. av always had lurchers so to fair i dont no that much about digging. cheers.

    Also depends where you are, it's ok having all the time in the world to play with, but it's not much use if there is feck all game about, and you have no transport. A lot of the best dogs you see about (and best 'dogmen') are/were blessed with a lot of game to go at, and as such get more experience in less time, and when you hitting stuff right, left and centre i guess it breeds a kind of obsession. yee thats it init. .

    i would say employed would have better, they can aford to keep dogs in luxary aford to av a motor, how much do you get on the doll anyway is it 50 a week ? but like a lot of you have said its all down to how keen you are.

    Exactly mate and my dog in his first season probly done aas much as a few of the clever twats dogs do all their lives because all they do is sit infront of thl having a go at people who do a bit.if u don't know your dogs capabilities after a season you need to get out more or give it up as a bad job as it obviously aint in you haha and I am not breeding them for anyone elses benefit just my own dog must be sh1t, already f****d at two, why dont you just cull em all apart from two? how much you selling em for? £200 £300. so you saying you should no your dog after ONE season so for you its ok
