The first line in the protection of wild mammals act2002 (Scotland) says " A person must not deliberately hunt a wild mammal with a dog" The police would have to prove that the act was deliberate and if witness's said you had called your dog off they would be hard pushed to prove intent. There was winesses to say that very thing i was shouting and trying to stop them as all my neighbours could see it happening. Not to mention it was dark ish and i couldnt see in the woods properly and was watching where i was putting my hands for obvious reasons. One of my neighbours still hasnt forgiven

WRONG the dog was predictable we all seen it coming and told you to be careful in the right hands im afraid the dog would have proved fine alas for the dog it wasnt in good hands sorry mate.I suggest a hamster then a ferret than once you master them consider a dog again

Adam read back through your replies on here that dog was off lead several times after the first incident you were offered advice although it does f**k all now.Still shame a dog had to die because you couldnt be arsed to listen to good honest advive that didnt invlolve the dogs demise. As for Mr angry who you calling names lol whos the armchair warrior?Bet your a 2 foot tall tosser who likes to act like he man

What age is the other dog you could get away with junior for both and save yourself time they also come in 7.5kg bags too

The dog wasnt unsuitable or infact a problem IT WAS THE OWNER he asked for advice then ignored everything that was said about not letting him run loose with or near livestock till he had really got it into the dogs head that he couldnt have them.He let the dogf loose round sheep thinking somehow the dog had magically re trained itself and wouldnt touch them then BAM lamb gets dragged down no big surprise. He f****d it up bigstyle not the dog he was the one in charge and didnt do what he should have so he only has himself to blame.

Ive used skinners chudleys and arden grange a lot lately with excellent results. All pups fed with it and they all thrived as these ones are doing now.Its not a lot of money for what the dogs gonna do for you come the season.Arden grange puppys about £30 for 15kg but for a pup that size im sure it will last at least a month skinners and chudleys are a lot cheaper again. The only reason my two long legs arent on arden grange now is storm goes mental if proteins too high hes a lot calmer when i drop it down and he hasnt lost weight or condition so far anyway.Flints a fat cow lol nah not really bu

You f*****g TIT how many times did me and others tell you to be careful and not to push it too hard too son but nah you knew better eh? Well done another dog dead or f****d out on its arse because its owner was a total Useless Prick. For the sake of any animals in the future please dont get another dog till you can at least use your brain dickhead

Happened to me with a fox and the police after speaking to the neighbours realised i was trying to stop them so they said as i hade made an effort to call them off there wouldnt be a report sent to the pf.Dont know how this actually works day to day but i was told if its an accident it can be reported but isnt usually
-
Get a decent dry food skinners puppy and chudleys even arden grange isnt too expensive and will cost a lot less in the long run and be far better for her.Id leave it alone it will go away
-
I bought Arden Grange weaning food it was recommended to me and its really good stuff so far anyways. They get whelpi although i will try and get lambs milk soon cos its better
-
Not you personally your clearly in the eyes of the law doing everything possible to prevent an accident im talking about those who would do it deliberately.Running around with the pet ambulance 24/7 for a long time now you see a lot and learn a lot.Mainly because alas i have to deal with all sorts as does my dad.I wouldnt trust my black dogs not to weigh in a cat off lead out doors they didnt know but indoors they live happily with them which is a surprise cos my terrier hated cats only took a week or two to change her mind though.Ive turned loads of cat killing lurchers around to live with ca

You can and people do get charged with having a dangerous dog if it attacks a cat in public. You can be ordered to pay vets costs and comepnsation and also loose your dog or be ordered to keep it muzzled and on a lead. Then theres a court appearance as well. Its not worth it plus you would need to be really gone in the head to be allowing your dog to deliberately savage cats would you be willing for said cat owner to come in a savage your dog or kill it cos they have a gripe with you
-
Pmsl dont let him see that or he will go of on a spiel ffs
-
What if the antis are sniffing the guys stated it wasnt his dog.Ive had one of mine kill a cat the dogs now dead at the time i went to the neighbours door with their cat and they were really understanding.I bought them a new kitten and a box of wine to say sorry cos i have cats and even when i didnt i wouldnt allow any dog to rattle a cat but sometimes it happens

Got my hall tiles laid yesterday by and excellent tiler done a great job and only wanted £100 for labour and he brough his own grout and cement stuff.Slung him £120 cos he had been at it most of the day and he turned up at 8am.All the council joiner had to do was put the front door back on and plane the bottome a little. His reply errr no i cant do that i have to get you a new door. Why? mmm its old it iwll break if i re hang it and plane it.So me and Andy took an electric plane to it and re hung it ourselves and its ok apart from skuffing a little at the floor near the lock side. But its loose

Got a few crappy pics off my phone they made a mess lol but the other dogs tidied up afterwards so not too bad lol.Theyre on arden grange puppy weaning food and Whelpi to wash it down mums knackered and isnt wanting to feed them anymore she will only feed them once or twice so hopefully this gives her a break. Will try and get better ones tonight last night they made a mess and needed cleaned down and what not so didnt get much time to take pics

Dont see how thats going to help you tbh.Id ask the police to get a vet of your choice and your entitled to this btw to look at the cat and give an opinion on what type of dog and strength of the dogs jaw and type.If it comes back greyhound and you have bull xs you prove your point or vice versa.Id go speak to her and explain it that you have witnesses it was not your dog and had it been your dog you would have dealt with it properly

pups 5 days old getting bigger
Cold Ethyl replied to lamping lurchers's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
So what if he wants something for them? Ive laid out a small fortune on the pups that are here so far their food theyre going to be weaned onto tonight is almost £30 for 7.5 kg and theres 8 to feed and then the panacur was £30 for a bottle i will need 2 no doubt and thats not even keeping mum fed and in good health either.DSo i can imagine he will need to ask for something to cover the costs its not like you wouldnt do the same or worse sell them for £200 -
It is im afraid people do get done for it mainly under the dangerous dogs act and done for their dog being out of control in public.Hope you get it sorted depending on the breeding maybe a vet could say it wasnt your dog if say a whippet killed the cat and your dogs a bull x sort of thing.Cos clearly bull cross will have a harder bite
-
Adam he didnt do it before hasnt done it since thats fair enough but he DID DO IT so you need to be really careful and keep him in your hand so to speak for a while yet till you can be 100% sure in your own mind he wont ever ever do this again.Your throwing him in at the deep end way to soon
