  7. get the mk3 anyday as with the mark 3 it is much more up to date and comes with a 12 month guarantee whereas the mk1 will only be available in a used form and u will have no chance of finding a brand new as there will be none around

  10. i am wondering as i am being given a mk3 long range terrier finder and was wondering if with the difference in recievers and tht this box says on it terrier finder as to whether it will work with a ferret collar

  12. i know what has happened here it happened to me once before you have not hit the skull you have hit the base of the neck, i also heared this crack when the pellet hit it and i thought i had headshotted it but when i went over to it it jumped up and ran but luckily i had the dog so it didnt get away there was a small wound that had cut the skin on the back of the neck so must have only dazed it
  13. dont use a rucksack as the rabbits wont be able to coll and theyll go green on the meat, also they want gutting as soon as possible or maybe up to an hour or less after shot or if this does not happen the meat will be tainted

  17. i just shot a rabbit on a piece of permission that the bloke wants clearing of rabbits and when i went to fetch the rabbit its belly was moving. i opened it up and the babys were alive and i have them now in a box with a lot of cloth huddled round em was wonderin what i should do with them as it seems pointless in just killing them any information given would be greatly appreciated spanielman btw it was a headshot

  20. john you make it sound as if it is some far off safari in another country nevermind grey, damp england. accomadation, food and guide, you make me laugh you also seem a bit touchy at the best of times and i would not pay to live in an old caravan and for a days ratting you should be paying the terrier lads

  22. i have got a big polecat hob and do not want him to get overweight and i feed him on a few biscuits and whatever i catch eg rabbits, squirrels and other vermin. also i was wondering how much food should i be feeding him everyday
  23. i was just looking at some photos from about a month back or 2 and thought id ask this question.we had lamped across the valley of a farm we had permission to lamp the foxes with a rifle(6.5) and saw two lights shine back at us. we went to the bottom of the valley and to the bottom of the sixty acre field that the charlie was sat in the middle off. we thought that he would have gone by the time we got to the bottom of the valley as it took us a good ten minutes. i shone the lamp and he was still there, so my mate got the gun on the bipod and took the shot. he dropped like a stone and when we w
