  1. Does anybody have a set of rizzini e chokes they dont use and want to sell.I have just bought one and finding it hard to find chokes for it so thought i'd try on here. Thanks wayne
  2. I've got a pair of air pro spinners, and i've had no probs with them, but only if you set your rotory machane to half speed, anything faster or slower the birds dont really want to know.unluckily though i paid £50 for mine when they first came out.oh well.pk
  3. Think your in the wrong section mate...
  4. Where abouts in surrey are you mate. Will the hutches collapse down to transport or will a estate/van be needed??
  5. Maybe we have,no worries.I've got an Air arms S410 .22 carbine 10 shot. Its the bollocks,a head shot on a pigeon sat in a tree at about 20-25yds is the same as hitting a 10p piece.More dificult than it sounds. I wouldn't dream of shooting a sitter with a shotgun, whats the fun in that. Happy hunting steviebhoy. PK
  6. Cheers for the advise guys, not back at work for a bit and i've got a couple of mates want a days shooting so think i'll give it ago. Cheers again.PK
  7. I think it was worded as "wait for them to come into roost, not wait till they're roosting".If using an air rifle you have to wait for em to land, but roost shooting can be tricky as there branches and such like in your way.A little more difficult than a straight shot out of a hide into a field.PK
  8. Is it pigeon shooting you just want to do,there are plenty of people out there that will tell you that you need a trailor full of stuff to be able to have success,if you have land to shoot on you can have some great fun with the amount of gear you have. You could maybe do with a hide net of some description. A small decoy pattern on the edge of a fiend of rape or stubble, can work just aswell as a huge pattern with floaters, bouncers and a rotary machine, and remember once you've shot a few birds you can increase your pattern size with these birds. Another option is roost shooting, which is proba
  9. Basically mate it comes down to the 6 p's PRIOR PREPERATION PREVENTS PISS POOR PERFORMANCE. An old army saying we used to say,bet you take it next time. Good huntin.PK
  10. Anybody in kent had any big bags of pigeons recently,i've got my eye on a flock of about 1500 down near dover that are hammering 2 fields of rape, just need some time to get on em and thin em out a bit. Would like to hear from guys and gals around the kent area, just to get a feel on how this part of the country's doing for pigeons. Cheers PK
  11. Just wondering if anybodys used an owl decoy for shooting corvids,as i've recently been given one and not really sure how effective they can be.Any ideas????? Cheers PK
  12. Hi guys and girls, new to the site, just a quick hello, look forward to talking to some of you, Regards PK
