how goes it lads well as the title states i fitted an hw silencer to my s510 today and what a difference am well chuffed anyway as i had the gun out i thought id show the new kid on the block (daughter) that the old timer is still best 10 pellets 30mtrs 5 pence piece target atb gary

hi shay mate i dont mind when it happens (well i do at the time) but the following day you have a good laugh about it ,,,im off to buy a silencer for it today as its a little loud for me ,,probably gonna go for a hw there a couple of lads on the AAO web site put hw's on and apparently makes the gun % quieter atb gary

hi lads thanks for the comments but today shannon wanted more target practice compare this picture to the other post (her 1st time shooting ) with this 1 (her 2nd time shooting) everything on the left is her shooting after she got bored with hitting the bulls she asked if she could shoot the pins i laughed which was very quickly wiped of my face .... she's gonna want to start coming out with us soon

hi mate atm im using bisley magnums in my .177 s510 and they drop rabbits for fun another cracking pellet is the jsb exact both give you the dropping power but more important (well to me anyway) is accuracy you can shoot drawing pins at 30mtrs all day .. atb gary

hi lads got a call from mr zini its was about 16:00 do you fancy a couple of hours tonight he asked ? do bears sh*t in the woods lol so off i went took my up and coming new sharp shooter with me (shannon my daughter) just to give her an idea of what its all about and she enjoyed it she's a bit like her dad as long as im out im happy. anyhow onto the farm just around the corner from si's work took us about 45 mins to get around (with si finding a rabbit set the hard way ) straight down the hole he went we didnt laugh si honest with very little to show we headed back to the car at

hi lee mate according to the spec's for the gun im looking at around 60 per fill which is more than ample i think last night i fired 15 and apart from the 3 rabbits the others were used whilst check zeroing at the beginning of the night atb gary

thanks for the comments lads tony cheers mate my secret now !!!!! si the 1st 2 were 30 cross hairs bang on centre the 3rd i was 1 mil up so that was probs about 35/40 i hate judging distances at night im gonna get a silencer for it though ... shay yes mate cracking night the only thing that spoilt it (a little) was the vis you could see for miles the only down side on this permission is the farmer wont let anyone join us for a nights shooting but at the end of the day its his choice just a shame atb gary

hi lads well i got it today and had to go break it in its 5 am just got back from a 4 hour mooch about and we have SNOW there was none in cumbria and about 4 to 5 inches in newcastle ... anyhow the AA s510 .177 done its job 3 for 3 little bunnies conditions were not that bad no wind at all but also no cloud cover we could see for miles like i say it was my 1st time out with the 510 so i cant wait till i get used to it sorry the write up is short but i need sleep lol

i had a pro sport mate until today ..now ive got an AA s510 carbine with 6x24x50 tasco scopes and the lamp set up is just a deben tracer so im hoping to break the new gun in atb gary -

do you think i have anything to worry about ?? my 13 year old daughter decided she wants to move on to shooting she's been ferreting with us and after an accident a while ago (old springer no bear trap and fingers) ouch that put her off air guns but now ive gone to pcp (AA s510) she decided to have another go and i cant get her off my new baby. so ive told her she's not coming hunting until she has got used to shooting targets and she starts hitting the kill zones so i started her off on a 12mtr range and this was her 1st go with an air rifle (im worried) she's not allowed to be better than

hi shay mate i tried all sorts of pellets and i ended up with jsb exacts never went wrong with these cracking stopping power and pellet on pellet at 30mtrs when i say pellet on pellet i was putting drawing pins through the back stop groupings were that close ... when i get my s510 tomorrow (yaaaa) thats a 177 so ill be starting with jsb's and going from there wor kid uses Prometheus Dynamic TM1 in 22 and im very impressed with them as i am with FX Pellets that si is using atm so ill give them 3 a shot 1st and see what happens atb gary
