  1. i know its gonna upset a few folk, but it is a serious question...

we all know ye only get out what ye put in when it comes to pups, but most also know, that not everydog is gonna make the grade...

    so what happens next????

do you cull/rrehome or keep what ye got an make the most of it??????

dont care how ye cull, or who ye rehome to, not what im asking....

be honest, have you got jackers in yer kennel, are you happy with them??? or have you replaced a jacker with a dog that gives its best..

i personally think that one should make up ones mind what sex you want to keep before breeding a bitch .... for example... i want a dog pup so at birth i will cull all bitch pups and leave the dog pups on the mother . these will go to start work very few will be gifted what ever fails get's culled simple ..... hope this helps dotty

and joball i know you don't cull so why post lies ..... it's not that long ago you were slagging me off because i cull wastage ££££££££££££

  4. Now that's the way it should be done, give the dogs some years to graft before breeding them  Doesn't matter if the bitch misses a bit of action when you are planning on adding some good blood to your pack. All the best with your bitch and pups and I'm looking forward to the pics.

fair play ftb ... that has to be the first positive comment i have read that you have posted ........... nice dogs by the way and good luck with the litter

  5. you would think he had saved orphans from a burning building, with the amount of praise he getting from some.he won on the shittiest tv show known to man lol

  6. Yea cause es doing a great job of stoping people from posting u lot are a set of mugs do any of u actualy keep working dogs or just sit on here pretending ftb keep up the great work uve bin promoted from vilidge idiot to hero lad keep at it

We do actually work our dogs and most of us wouldn't buy a pup off of a bitch that is still a pup herself. I didn't stop you from posting, just pointed out what you are trying to sell us. I like my new title now you can try for a promotion from scum of the earth to village idiot since there is an opening.

what age is the bitch he has bred a litter from ??

  7. im looking to get a pup off mike, has anyone got any of mikes dogs?

what is mikes dogs like? and does he work them?

    thanks

i've had one out of mike browns "strike while the irons hot " .......... mine would bush and catch in the day but would not run the lamp at all , not even doubled up , i gave the dog away as a pet ....... but to be honest i later found out that the bitch my pup was out of was a pet NON WORKER !! maybe if both parents would have been workers thinhgs would have been different ......... so my advise to you is .... be carefull who you are buying your pup from and do your home work on the parents . i've seen some decent whippets from mike brown but there are some people out there that use his stud dogs just to have the name attached to a litter for selling purposes ......... good luck

One of the sights that made me happy, him running as fast as he could after a rabbit, im only young and really wasnt sure how he'd shape up but hes doing fine and back on track, thanks for all replies and people who took intrest!

well done lad , the dog looks to be in good shape ..... a sound word of advice for you .... get your self a golf club a heavy driver you allready know what to do with it .... next time you see the staffy hit it between the eyes .

as for those of you who jumped on my back when i said shoot the staffy .... i have owned and on occasion bred staffys for 21 years and before that i owned pit bulls before they became illegal and rest assured any man biters or fight starters get the bullet end of

  11. sort the b*****d staffys out with a shovel over the head and the dog owners. had a staffy a while ago a chave entised his staffy to scap with my bull x while she was on the lead let the lead go so she could escape and she turnt back and killed the f****r and i gave the lad a hiding. wernt so cocky after that i think its stupid people owning powerful dogs when they have no control over them. hope your dog heals up nice and fast and back out working best of luck with it

its not the staffys fault its the f*****g edjits walking them :censored:

well said lad ....... but now that staffy has a taste for scrapping it needs one thing ...... a bullet to the head ,....before a kid gets in the middle of it attacking another dog

a bullet to the head it needs because its attacked one dog f**k sake fella would you listen to yourself :censored: as ive said its not the dogs fault its the fools walking it that need to keep it under control

so i suppose you are of an opinion that this staffy will not attack again ..... lets just say for example that my 13 year old daughter is out for a walk with her 5 month old whippet pup and the same staffy runs up to them and attacks the whippet .... instinctivley my daughter is going to try and get the whippet away from the staffy ... what if the staffy then bites her ... and don't say it don't happen because the last time i parted 2 fighting dogs i got bitten myself ... it happens and yes i agree with you it is the owners that are at fault but a serious line has to be drawn under the future of that particular dog because i would bet my last £ on it fighting again that is why i say shoot the piece of s**t ....... dogs like that and tw*t owners in the same air space give the rest of us a bad name

  13. nice dog , is it me or is the deerhound cross becoming more popular of recent ???

there do seem more about of late, which is a good thing really.Back in 70s the colliexgrey x deerhoundxgrey was a very popular x , they were good on all quarry.I like deerhound in a x, good feet, wind, good coat, drop bit of collie+grey in there brill lurcher

i could not agree with you more on that one ray .... i've seen some good deerhound x's in the past . i think a lot of the time they have been overlooked by the over popular bull x

  14. Don't listen to people who say that the dog is unlikely to run again: I've seen much worse on my own dogs, and they have healed fine. Obviously the bruising is a concern, and yes, the wound could break down and the skin die off, but nature is pretty miraculous and even if it takes a long time the dog will heal providing you follow the vet's instructions. As the vet has already told you the dog will run again, then listen to the vet, not someone on here who I doubt very much is a vet, or has had a great deal of experience.

Just keep him quiet, clean the wound VERY gently every day with salt water: a teaspoon of salt dissolved in half a litre of previously boiled water which has been allowed to cool to luke warm.

You might well end up with a scar with no fur on it, but that won't matter at all. Good luck.

good post skycat .... the 2 things i would add is if the dog is not indoors or if you think he might be a bit cold put a heat lamp above him ... the other is kill the staffy
