    The one thing my dad says he always regrets, was swapping his prized egg collection for a pair of football boots when he was a kid, Unfortunately, ive grown in a busy city with no woodland around for miles, And the only egg collecting I could have done was feral pigeons in the roof, Good read Undisputed, I'd rather be an old fella(for lack of a better term lol) with good stories like that than a young'un who only knows his way around a full english (Me being the latter) ;)

     

    Been known to have a few full englishes in my time mate :D I gave my egg collection to my mates lad wish I'd kept it....one of those things were you think I can always get another one. More than half the birds that where common when I was a kid have gone now. There's still the odd place that holds them but theyre few and far between. There was this one tree that had blue tits nest in it every year from when I was a boy it was always guaranteed to hold them went this year to have a look and the tree had gone...shame that ;)

     

     

    It truly is a shame, All these stories of proper childhood's from way back when, and all kids learn today is were stop pouring hot water in a pot noodle and a chicken actualy has batter and breadcrumbs for skin, I've always been interested in wildlife ever since I could talk, I havnt got the knowledge that alot of the old timers have but this love of wildife will only grow and hopefully one day i will have the knowledge, ive been trying and trying to get my 9 yr old sister interested but she just doesnt want to know. She just cares about were the next tooth destroying sweet is coming from lol

    I don't think even Birds have the bollocks to go that high, It just looks so easy to slip no chance would you catch me doing that! Respect to german fella though who lived out his last days on this earth having a f*****g mental time lol

    I would rather see less police on the beat. Dirty bent C**TS, they think they are above the law scumbags. Much rather see the citizens deal with crime.

     

     

    If you have any evidence to back that up I'm sure everyone here would like to see it. They should have more Police on the beat rather than cooped up in a station filling out a load of paperwork for something stupid.

    Now its downloaded it wont work, It starts up and then the screen goes funny and it just goes off, Anyone know why?

     

     

    Normally that means your pc can't handle the graphics.......

     

     

    It was on the laptop it kept doing it, I'll have a go on this now

    Got 7 Budgies, Pair of Canaries and a pair of Java Sparrows in mine, not a large aviary but a comfortable size for what I've got, I think the java sparrows are the nicest to look at, They look almost like they are made of wax

    no local farms about that you could ask to see if they got anywork, even tell them you will do a couple of days in advance no pay so they can see what you like before taking you on. atb.

     

    I might try that, Theres an abattoir about a few miles from here, might go and ask there

    Any other poor sod's out of work? I got laid off about 3 months ago now, and can't find nothing at all :cry: , Even applied for jobs I would never normaly dream of doing like sitting behind a desk all day, And still to no avail.

     

    A holiday rep sounds good, 6 months abroad (shite money) but all food and accomidation paid for, I'm certianly goin to be looking into it, Don't know why more people aren't

    I would probably eat the sheep's head no problem, one of my favourite things is brawn on chips (sheep brain), and I would probably eat the ant eggs, but the id rather eat my own flesh than eat that cheese

    haha yeah he would love it, there was another one i can't find, it was japanese i think, they keep a live donkey outside and slice pieces of meat of it and serve it raw, or another way they done it was keep pouring boiling water over the live donkey's wounds so the meat was cooked when they slice it off

    Hello All

     

    Just wondering what would be the best book for a beginner on falconry, And where would I be able to find it, Amazon or Ebay etc..

    I know I'm a long way off owning a BOP and still have a lot to understand and learn
