    thanks for all the replies, and eighty five pounds is crazy. When I bought some extra five round mags, on the bottom its marked up for either .22 or .17 . Are .22LR the same size as the .17 or are they longer/shorter

    my son and me were granted our FAC this time last year for the first time. We put down for a .22LR, .17HMR and a .22 hornet. We were told that we had the choice of either the 22LR or the .17HMR, and would not be allowed the hornet. We took the .17HMR. Good for rabbits but not close in, and we've had foxes out to 70 yards ( wouldnt go any further without a guaranteed kill ). If you want to eat the rabbits they must be head shots as the round shatters on contact, and it does destroy the meat if you hit them anywhere else.

    I had both, but in two years all I ever put through the 20 bore was 35 cartridges. I just use the 12 bore for everything

    to be honest I'm not sure what model it is, I just know it fitted in the shoulder well and felt right. I haven't any photos yet but will try and take some. All I can say is that I took it once round the golf course and its stayed in the cabinet ever since
