I give a penicillin jag 1 to 2ml depending on size of dog.Use cut and heal liquid or ointment also depending on type of wound.Any holes that cant be stitched i only wash out once and pack with ointment,for a stitched or stapled wound the liquid as ointment can gam staples or stitches too much ok thanks for the help lads

  7. you need to get a reputable wormer (not off the petshop shelf!) like Drontal or panacur and follow the instructions CAREFULLY (i know litters killed because people didnt dose correctly with wormer) I worm with Drobtal liquid at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 weeks, and weaning starts around 3-4 weeks(unless you are hand rearing then you can get away with 3 weeks). you need to mush up your pupy food of choice to a thick soup (I use royal canin baby pup and tripe and puppy milk blended into a warm soup) and start them on that every 4 or 5 hours.   12. don't think she hit them with her front legs lad. she could of knocked them on wire or rough ground. if there cut wash them in disinfectant like dettol mixed in warm water. if swollen go to a pet show or chemist an get some green rub and massage it on her legs for next couple of days , hope this helps. do u know the name of the green rub, tanx
  13. was out with with my lurcher yesterday and got a hunt of the big eared fella and when she came back her front wrists were bit cut and when i seen her this morning her two wrists were swollen from where she must of hit them with her back legs while running , will this always happen and what can i do to reduce the swelling, thanks guys

  15. my mates dog he somtimes give afew barks when his behind the rabbits and also does the same behind the big ears fella his 15 mths old and has seen quite abit now , what the reason any way of stopping it

  17. got a lurcher she is 13 mths old i gallop her twice a week, so how many miles should i be giving her behind the car to get her fit but not to have her exausted and burnt out for the big ear fella , i will be starting her off hunting the big ear fella shortly and getting at least 3 hunts a week, so i want to get her fit but still want her to have plenty of energy for this type of hunting,any advice lads
