OR to put another spanner in the works...I have loads of spanners...lol Compulsory licensing and security ? OK I will tell you's what I think ! Fact 1. To own a decent air gun ( gas ram or gas operated ) kitted up costs more than a licensed 22 including cabinet and license fee. Fact 2. People who are saying "what about the poor buggers that can't get a firearms license" are normally describing people that have an obvious reason why the local police would not issue one, be it criminal or medical grounds. Fact 3, Your getting more head of game any day with a licensed firearm ( eg: .22 rimm

I agree with Sean3513 the post in General is here CLICK HERE Regards Steve -
OK I am going to throw the spanner in the works. Some one will or at least be thinking it by now. Should air rifles be included in the firearms licensing system ? And should any potential owner of a air gun be vetted and made to be licensed under the firearms licensing system ? I mean regardless of the limit of 12ft.lbs muzzle energy for rifles. Do you think that a vetting system similar to what you have to go through for a firearms above "12ft.lbs muzzle energy" would be an advantage and maybe assist to stop isolated incidents like this. Its easy to say we as the hunting com

This video will show you how to make purse nets to use in connection with rabbit control. This informative tutorial will show you all you need to know, from the equipment required and the methods used to make a top quality type of net. The nets are shaped by using a design of increasing and decreasing mesh loops, which apart from not wasting materials, the nets close and bag perfect. After using this type of net “I don’t think you will ever use the old type nets again.†After viewing this video I am sure you will master the art of net making. The methods are demonstrated by a North

Fieldsports replied to Fieldsports's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Thanks again for the comments. I will definitely post on here once I have the first DVD ready. PS: I have some footage from today where me and Woodga is out for a walk with the dogs terriers and spaniels and our mates lab. Done a couple of resh fields and getting rabbits from dry stone walls due to woodga's "Lucy" been such a great marker on the walls. Its not that exciting "pretty boring really" so thats why I never put a clip on,( the critics would be in there glory if they seen it ) but with no guns, snares or nets we still took over 24 rabbits for a short walk about. We had a laugh -
The Royal Mint has issued up to 200,000 20p coins without a year date - making them worth loads. In what has been described as an "incredibly rare" error, the coins are missing their 2009 stamp and are instantly valuable - and could become even more so. The updated 20p had the date shifted to the head's side. But between 50,000 and 200,000 coins were minted using the old version of the Queen's head which does not have the year date. This is not the first time Royal Mint has made a mistake. In 1983 a new 2p was struck with the wording "new pence" rather than "two pence". h Here
