  1. I have a set of 1" Sako Optilock ring mounts, blued in good used condition that I'd like to swap for your version of the same in 30mm. Please note, these are the one piece mount version of the Optilocks, not the more usual two piece base and ring setup. These mounts are much lighter than the two piece combination, and can accommodate scopes up to 50mm depending on barrel weight. Also on other forums.
  2. Latest model with Lotutec and 42 Reticle, brand new in box with all paperwork, including receipt and UK warranty. I bought this a few months ago from Sportsman Gun Centre for a stalking rifle project that never materialised. I'll open the box and take photos for interested parties. Sportsman are selling this model for £1220 + postage: HERE SOLD including including insured postage and I'll chuck in a set of new in box Butler Creek lens covers.
  3. Still for sale. Plenty of interest, but none has bothered to view yet?
  4. I'm just off the M40 J11 at Banbury for viewings.
  5. I'd really like to get this sold this weekend as I have a replacement target rifle to collect on Tuesday.
  6. To interested parties: the rifle has only fired 120 rounds in total.
  7. Hi, I'm near Banbury (J11 on the M40). By the way, I've just remembered that this is a switch barrelled rifle, so it's possible to change calibres if required.
  8. 20" fluted barrel, detachable twin stack magazine, synthetic stock, Ilfalon coated metalwork, three position safety, adjustable trigger with extra set option, integral Weaver bases. ABS case included with instructions and tools. Scope and mounts shown not included. I bought it new March 09, so it's not even a year old. It has been on one trip to Arran where it accounted for a nice Red calf at just over 220 yards. I've had it threaded 1/2" UNF and proofed by Neil Mckillop (Dasherman), with 11 degree target crown. It has been correctly broken in and meticulously cleaned after every outing,
  9. I'd say more like a head on shot through the chest with the exit being out the ass end. Nice set up. Certainly devastating. I don't think my 223 could do that much damage. I'd better take it for a walk and check!
  10. I have used them of course as i produced it, and they are the dogs BOLLOCKS when it comes to Fox/Predator calls, they were produced in Canada by myself and a friend, with the attention being that they would benifit North American Shooters as well as the Fox shooters over here as we only have OLD CHARLIE, North America have a few Coyote...Bobcat...Red Fox to name a few of the more common ones, wait and see the reports that come back from the 5 members who got one, i will admit there are a couple on there that are not much use here, but around % of the calls will have FOXY coming in, But there a
  11. 35gn Vmax loads work fine in my .223 with 23.7gn of H4198. They clock about 3700fps and will shoot sub MOA at 100yards, but are easily caught by the wind at further ranges. In my Tikka .223 with 1:12" twist, they seat 20 thou from the lands with plenty engagement in the case as they are not boat tailed (unlike a lot of 40gn heads I have tried which necessitate a much longer jump to the lands). These heads are highly frangible at this speed, and make a total mess of rabbits. Very humane indeed!
