Coppola allowed Brando to ad-lib most of his dialogue during the movie,I think that speech included.

theres a movie about the making of the movie ive not seen it but just looking at who was involved I wouldn't imagine its a pretty watch lol

the speech is excellent as well anyone hell bent on winning a war would do well to study it carefully,

  2. Love reading, cant stand any of the American classic literature, tried a few and they just don't sit right with me, that Catcher in the Rye was garbage imho, I struggled badly to find it remotely interesting, gave it too my son he loved it. Not overly keen on classic English literature either lol

Trainspotting the book will one day become a classic literature imho,  its always been cult fiction and also mainstream due to the popularity of the film, there's a few layers to that book and a good few others written by the same author, very good account of the times in question from a very unique set of aspects, that's what makes great literature is it not? Kes is exactly the same great book great film, genuine classic literature,  The Godfather is a Real American Classic much better book that it could ever translate to in two films, although the films are also classics, apart for the third one which is pants,

Stephen King real good writer, The Stand, Salem's Lot, Shawshank Redemption, Stand By me, the latter two becoming classic movies as well, American Psycho is another great book that could or should become an American classic, not a bad film either

  3. we all have the right too remain private, but lets face it all of us give a little of ourselves away on here, the longer you stay the more you give n most instances, good few members that when you read between the lines you can see are very interesting people, that come from all walks of life, from the very top to the very bottom and everything in between, Gnasher and a fair few others show more cards than some other care too do, when they chatting away on here, as said before its very unlikely that he really cares, like most this will be a time filler when bored , he likely sat reading all this on an I phone 10 in his pad, bet he will be gutted to miss the Lomenchenko v Rogondeaux fight , mind likely get a link on his phone

Dya reckon, for the average man id say not & im sure all concerned prefer it that way. (im just an average man)

Not everyone has a choice what is written about them, tweek the names & loosely call it fiction.

I bet he'll have a glance in here if he 'perhaps' gets a bit of time on his hands :bye:

Did make me chuckle though when he mentioned he'd rather have had a 9-5 or factory job or a phrase similar to that  id guess and say he'd rather do you a good turn than a bad one which would make him like most lads on here. I do wonder what capers he's been upto though - human nature? But their again anyone who has had a bit of success or taken an unconventional path in life interests me.

Sometimes you have very little on the way of choices in life ,circumdtsnces cam dictate it, don't mean on reflection you wouldn't you possibly envy the man who don't ever need too look over his shoulder ? Monies definitely not everything in life that's one lesson I have learned if no others , but it's bloody nice ,lmao

fairplay too any man who makes a crust as long as it's not affecting me or mine is about my take on it , I always say if you can live with the consequences then it's likely worth it in life lol mind am piss poor ?

everyone knows hes one of the krays lot

warm on the profession, but wrong end of the scale imho, the krays where penny pinching amatuers, I seriously doubt its one of them half a hooligan/wideboy/gangster types you see fetching books out and making tv shows,  there are some serious players in uk organised crime ltd, most of them would run a mile from being in a book or coughing up to their sins, not saying its the case in question for this particular fella we on about here lol after all none of us actually know who he is , lol

  7. Whist Whyte isn't the most talented or gifted fighter he is game too take on anyone,  he seems too struggle badly with conditioning and always looks gassy, like said the failure to finish chisora n being saved by a decision that could of gone either way easily don't really instill confidence , but I hope he does get another shot and gets too make some big money for his family , love the way he treats Eddie Hearn ?

Can't see bellew taking another fight too be honest Xmas is almost on us and haye will still want the pay day , however I do have my doubts haye will fight again , he failed too prepare last time ,and dropped too pieces in the ring , timing was way off , telegraphed nearly all his shots, easy pickings for a fit well conditioned game man like bellew , and if he did prepare like he said he did then his bodies shot and he needs too face the reality and retire , as it's a dangerous sport

I agree with Mick I'd take bellew over whyte any day, I'd take him too beat Joe Parker as well,  think the next level up size wise like Pulev, Povetin Tyson Fury would likely stop bellew , wilder am not so sure of , personally I think he has fought no one , think AJ Pulev Miller Povetin would all wipe the floor with him easily , don't think his big ko punch quite what people (Americans) are saying , it's ok on shot low quality stationery targets I just don't see it stopping most the real top six of which I dont see wilder as one of , T Fury , Parker, Pulev , Takem, AJ , J Miller the only ones that count , all of them bar miller have had harder fights than wilder before and since they where champions or fought for titles , wilder is a disgrace , will not face anyone until he is forced too and even then I'd not hold my breath , think they will feed him too Miller better chance of them holding onto a portion of it,

  8. I wonder how many years of other boxers time Haye has actually wasted? one cancelled fight with klitschko, two with fury and now this , I think he ought to call it a day his bodies buggered, Bellew knows it the fella who trains Bellew knows it, the last fella who trained haye to fight bellew knows it, the surgeon knew it a few years ago, only it seems too elude old Dave, Id imagine bellew be quite happy to sit on it until after xmas,

Fury lol needs a licence  to fight n too loose few stone, he does love to ask for fights he is  very unlikely to get, don't think bellew will fancy big Tyson much

It is funny & kind of interesting, but at the same time unsurprising & predictable. Hence the cabin fever reference. Same folk, week in week out airing the same type of views on the same subjects, myself included. If the 'mooch' slivers out, you know who will react with what & when & so on.......:D

You know where you are, that's for sure......

like a stale ol skool  boozer

  10. I seriously doubt he would beat anyone off here up, if he who I think he is , he will likely be off for a nice long sunny holiday as soon as he steps out of the gates, occupatonal hazard I guess you could call it,  I seriously doubt like most who come on here that he will give too much more thought to what is said etc than anyone else would,  why would he , its a forum that attracts allsorts of people hunting itself is a very diverse sport, the man in question had what seemed to be a latent interest in hunting and working dogs, pigeons, aviary birds and liked a bit craic about boxing, footie and other general stuff, so the forums the right place for um, what he does off the board is his business, and should remain private as all of us would like ours too, (still dying to know if I'm right though lmfao)

  11. Marc Emery had on of the largest collection of seeds ever , I read somewhere , ? was always going too end up a cannabis millionaire unlike most he has payed the price and deserves his slice

Reefer Madness , one watch these days says it all, the world was such and innocent place , "mind the darkies n there wacky baccy n jungle music" was the tone of the day , moral outrage (direct from a country fresh off banning alcohol, thus gifting organised crime a foothold in america') directed at the whole world , whilst all the time they where plotting too profit from banning a plant everyone had use off prior too there ban ,  now it's come a full circle , thankfully , middle Britain needs reducating asap as their vote is essential , a lot swings on their vote, the youth vote already more or less guaranteed , even the liberals made it an election issue in a pathetic attempt too gain some ground , it's coming that's fir certain cheques in the post

  12. This particular 'The Black hand grenade' weighed 7,4g perfect weight for 45 capsules , that allow a young woman more freedom than 1.2k worth of medication (non script prices, ie non subsidised ) per month has failed too do so , waste of tax payers money , real cost ? A bit of time leccys and weed that cost about 2.10 too produce (if that) or in retail price about 60 quid add in jar of coconut oil, caps n capping board £25 , no more than £100 , could be done for pence if they used GW stock grown by sugar company, needless suffering , total waste of taxpayers money , it's was there all the time and it was free more or less , seen BBC programme last night , bit silly letting them consume too much though on the edible front, I suppose it breaks it too middle Britain in a polite manner after force feeding them lies for years
