    im getting a whippet !! i would he had 6 catches in 2 fields 1st field and then half way through the evening, nice to see a lot of rabbits this end of the season especially as its new ground for me i,ve been out last couple of nights and not seen 15 bunnies...seen plenty of foxes,but that,s not for my little dog... i been going all over old stomping grounds and its piss poor. you is lucky to be able to get at so many bunnies...wish i bloody could..i need to get my rescue dog going but cant get it at any at the moment...your lucky matey. vin where do you li

    Hi Guys the other day i asked if anyone could give me advise on my whippet retrieving to hand but not letting go,well i went out last night had 15 rabbits in 2 1/2 hrs which is not uncommon but what is ,is the fact that i tried some of your ideas out and he let go every single time without me having to beat it off him,thanks alot for your help and i will not hesitate asking for advise again thanks again Martin

    Then I would be more prone to prizing them free forcing your finger to push he's lips into he's teeth whilst saying "leave" or your command and praising him when he does. I have a Whippet/Greyhound bitch that does this occasionally and I find forcing my finger pushing her gums into her teeth is quick and needs to be done less as the evening goes on. Thank you il give that a try i am going on Saturday with him

    Thank you to all of you for your suggestion's i will take them on board and try them,he has caught some where in the region of 200 hundred rabbits but still will not let go otherwise he's a good little dog thanks again

    Hi my male whippet after making a catch comes back to hand but then holds tight to the rabbit and i have big problems getting him to let go,does anyone have any suggestion's on how to get him to let go easily thanks

    iv heard if you put these slips the wrong way through the collar the slip can hit the dog in the eye and blind it???....if you look in the health section theres a big write up on blind lurchers and two legged terrier!!! ps mr strong stuff uses special unblinding soft feel nylon for his slips and they are SO strong they can be used to tow a landrover think his are 3 for a £5 You obviously dont no much about Lurchers and lamping,they are fool proof so i would say even you could use them

    Hand crafted slip leads size 30" long,strong black webbing and nickel rivet construction,to use them you put over the hand and on to the wrist one end,then slip through the dogs collar with a two finger hold on the other end,creating a quick release but with no accidental slips,i have tried and tested these for 20yrs and they work great. £5 each includes posting.

    Hi does anyone in the Devon or Cornwall area have a double barrel 4.10 they would like to sell also wanted is a gun cabinet for 2 guns.I have a Air Arms .22 side lever air rifle for sale which cost new £500,i would like £150 for it and it comes complete with scope and slip and is also as new condition.If anyone can help please contact me.
