    cracking pic. same question as bird thanks.

     

    ive never had a collie x and this 3/4 grey x 1/4 german shep is not too bad but has its faults ,she excells in hare and rabbit ,had the odd roe but does not like ginger ones ive entered her slowly but when doubled up on ginger the other dog nailed her so put her off

    in general ok for what i req but wanted her to do the full works but hey we all cant have world beaters

    all this is pre ban of course

    The alternative is an animal welfare organisation who arent influenced by political agendas and who listen to genuine wildlife

    issues, given by people who arent sentimental fools. IMHO :yes:

    1,The Notorious Poacher by G Bedson...Hardback,printed 1982 mint condition £10 inclusive of P&P

     

     

    2,The Lone Woodsman byWarren Hastings Miller....Hardback,printed 1949 UK first edition,very very good condition for a 60 year old book,slight ink mark on the top were a pen has leaked onto it,doesn't affect any of the words..great story of a boy lost in the Canadian wilderness with just his dog for company,brilliant story if your into bushcraft etc. £40 inclusive of P&P..

    Wow thats funny, Ive watched it a few times and I think its real I cant see how they could have faked it???

    Theres a comment on there about it being fake

    "It is a fake, he leave the top of the slide head first but launches from the slide feet first.

    So he stops where the grass cuts the slide and they launch a dummy and someone else is in another tub of water hidden behind the first one as you dont exactly want a dummy landing on you.

    Simple. "

    LOL LOL Nobody is grassing on anybody there just keeping fellow dog men/women informed of who is stealing dogs.

     

    Look im not going to get into this in to much detail for my own reasons, but all Kev M as i persume this is were this debate is steming from was telling his fellow dog men to beware of a certain individual.

    So if ye want to get all technical and Tony "SOPRANO" on this one heres how you way sum up the situation.

     

    In organised crime, which there is alot of about today people look out of each other, good faces look other for their own and other faces around them, so if somebody within the community steps out of line these people inform each other for the sole reason of protecting one another so nothing bad will happen again, they usually deal with the problem in house and without the help of any other enforcement agency lol.

     

    So here in the working dog community it works the same, we inform each other of who is who and who is not to be trusted, so wether its by phone, word of mouth internet or any other method alls we are doing is looking out for each other.

     

    Different sittuations and ways of life but equal meaning.

     

    Think about it people by doing what it takes to weed out the scum from our communities which ever one it is we are not grasses end of.

    Your point is spot on mate and throughly understand what your saying,but like everything it is a two way street.

    What happens when dogman A has a problem with dogman B ..and starts going round saying dogman B has done this and he's done that as i'm quite sure there is some malicious :censored: on here who take great delight in other peoples misery,and stirring up hornets nests... :thumbs:

    People need to start learning what the term 'Grass' means, I always thought it was to tell tales on one of your own. People get called it for all sorts on here.

     

    As far as I know, most of the decent dog people on this site wouldn't class a dog thief as one of their own, so how could a person be a grass for naming & shaming?

    The word "GRASS" and it's meaning.That is were there is a grey area is,like you say they get called it for allsorts on here.Mostly for the reason someone doesn't like you but can't back up there arguement.As my teacher used to say"the stronger the words,the weaker the arguement"

    There are a lot of decent people on here and like you say wouldn't class a dog thief as there own,

    but what if one of your own was doing something you did not find acceptable..mugging OAP's,paedo(these are just worst examples I can think of) but because there dog men/dog women would this make it acceptable?

    i dont think its grassing one little bit. naming them is just a way to help prevent thefts by these people, who said anything about grassing them to the police?

    Whether your "grassing to the police or "grassing to another member on here you are technically "grassing"(and I agree with naming and shaming...so technically i'm a "GRASS" ).I don't like to hear of dog thefts as the dog is part of the family(well the majority of dogs),

    my point is grassing is grassing just as theft is theft(i have had this duscussion on here before)whether you have worked hard to buy your TV or worked bloody hard to bring on your own line,each item will have sentimental value to the individual person.

    Don't condone thieving never have done.Especially personal property :angry:

    But if your naming and shaming aren't you classed as a "GRASS" or does it not count when your the victim?.....

    Not saying you or anyone else is a "GRASS" just that the word gets banded around on here willy nilly for example when someone is trying to protect there permission etc,etc

    Would like to see what is acceptable for "GRASSING" and what is not

    I think i've put my question as diplomatically as i can,as i'm very interested in the outcome of the question.

    Obviously i expect to receive the usual "r u a grass" "r u a ANTI" :angel: I can assure you i'm neither and there's a few lads who can vouch for me off here :thumbs:

    I used to be an orderpicker in a warehouse long time ago and one of the dangers of working in the summer was pickers arse,fook did it hurt and everyone got it especially the new ones...

    My mate used to tell them to drink talcum powder mised with milk,so when you fart it puffs out a blast of talc,at least 2 tried it :D

    My advice in this situation?

    Rise above him,there are shitheads all around,dont bite,ignore him. And report every incident to the police. Ignore his solicitors letters and dont do anything to drop yourself in the shit.

    If you arent doing nothing wrong theres nothing he can do about it ! ! !

    If you've not threatened him with the gun,and he has no witnesses to anything he alleges you have done,,,you got nothing to worry about,keep the gun were it should be and ignore the neighbour.I know it's hard to do but just keep out of his way,if he goes to the solicitor,it's him it's going to cost...

    Phone the police and explain the situation and ask them to log your complaint that way when the neighbour phones them(police) for anything to do with you they will have him down as a trouble maker ;) ...

     

     

     

    Or you could go down the other route,which i'm quite sure some right hard b*****d will come along shortly to tell you,and to kick his head in .....

     

     

    But i know which method i'd use mate,ther's more than one way to skin a cat :thumbs:

    THIS GOVERNMENT IS TOTALLY f****d.OUR LADS AND LASSES BEING KILLED DAY IN AND DAY OUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE HAVE NOT GOT THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT AND TRANSPORT AND YET THIS GOVERNMENT STILL LETS EVERY FOREIGN f****r COME HERE AND CLAIM MONEY.SURELY THEY OWE IT TO THESE BRAVE PEOPLE TO HAVE THE BEST KIT GOING IN THE NAME OF DEFENDING OUR COUNTRY AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THE MONEY TO HELP SAVE THERE LIVES.WHY GO ABROAD TO FIGHT A WAR AND LOOSE LIVES WHEN THEY ARE NOT BEING GIVEN A CHANCE BECAUSE THE MONEY IS BEING WASTED AT HOME ON NONE BRITISH CITIZENS.SORRY FOR THE RANT BUT JUST WATCHED THE NEWS WITH MY KIDS AND THEY ASKED WHY OUR SOLDIERS ARE BEING KILLED LOOKING AFTER ANOTHER COUNTRY.
    because we live in a country which is run by spineless b*****ds
