  1. i would fail you on yoyr lvl 2 for opening up the chest, and those who have told you its the norm,THEY ARE WRONG. can i ask if you have DSC lvl 1 and if so where did you do it??????
  2. this is the problem that we face on a day to day basis,BASC have got a good money spinner here with this DCS and push it with the police so now more and more forces are requesting it for fire arms. gone are the days when you gained your rifles on your own merits and not of the money you spend to get them. bring back common sense and the good old bobby
  3. wtf, there is no legal requirements for you to have your DSC1 for a 243. if you are a memebr of basc then ring them up and get them to help you with it,if you read the home office guide lines then you will see that your flo is being a c*ck. BASC will help you gain your 243 providing you have land to shoot it on and you meet all the home office requirements for the 243 what i did was go and pay for some stalking like i did and i got a letter to shoot some 3900acres of land,i put this in with my application and got .22/223/243 and a 308 all in one go. if you need to know more then leave
  4. dont bother guys,i went there and ended up moving to newton rigg. at bishop they treat u like a child and if you are going to do the gamekeepering course then all you do is sit in a classroom and learn that way. what i would do is get onto newton rigg and at least there they have there own shoot and game block, you learn all the aspects of the trade and when you go for work placement they will help you to get one.the course at newton does what it says on the tin you will allso do your DSC1 in the 2nd year. its a great collage and the tutors are fantastic. so there you have it guys bi
  5. its never too late buddy,i left the forces and after the normal out of one uniform and into another i took the plunge and am at newton rigg doing the course and at 39 i stand a good chance as any other person.
  6. this was my first outing in august and now im never at home. i cant explain the feelings i got from seeing this beast fall. i shot it about 90 yards away using a .308 just over the boarders,a big thanks to james and i will be seeing you in about 2 weeks for some more my good friend. now have my fac with 22rf/.223/.243.
