Foxpro Spitfire caller Thinking of upgrading my Foxpro Spitfire to one of the larger models. Ive had this unit under 12 months and have been very impressed with it. Ive had foxes running full tilt at the unit from distances (witnessed) of over 500 yards. The calls I have now collected and downloaded are very life like and have never failed to bring a fox in if in the area. In a clear line of site I have managed to control this unit at over 200 yards. Without a doubt this unit has changed the way I shoot foxes, you have even more control of where you take the shot which is especially

JETBeam BC40 high power LED lamp review
stevienicknacks replied to stevienicknacks's topic in Reloading and Gun Maintenance
Heres a picture of the lamp mounted, this is a link to the figure of 8 mount: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250774670363&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_2903wt_945 Ive also tried the cheap China imports but they just dont give the range that this ione does or the clarity of beam. Yes I think you can but the weapon mount individually. The mount can be adjusted left adn right but not vertically. Ive found that between 100 and 200 yards the beam is wide enough to cover any shot. -
JETBeam BC40 high power LED lamp review Background Have been thinking about trying a new lamp type for both Rabbit and Fox use and have thought about the ND3 lasers that are out there but the expense just seems to be way too much for a lamp. Have also heard a lot of negatives about them not working in sub zero temperatures etc etc. However I do like the idea of having a lamp that has a nice tight beam, is very light without any wires attached and of course.......no big heavy battery to carry around. Obviously when you have a lamp man its much easier but more often than not I’m findi

LOL yes that does look like the dogs dangly bits. Took it out for a spin. Weather not so good but had stopped raining when I got out. I compared it to the Clulite Shootalite that I currently use on my rifle. Pretty much pound for pound the BC40 matched it. Bearing in mind this is against the naked eye, I think looking through the scope at the white light will be better at range. It picked up Rabbits and they didnt seem bothered. On low range I could see easily with the naked eye upto 100 yards and full power 200 yards easily and the far hedgeline that is exactly 260 yards away could be see
