    glad to hear its coming on well macberran ive had mine on the moor with me every day as mine will be more of a work companion than a out and out pointer he can sniff out stoats in the largest rock piles and likes a little rag at a fox or too i do take mine on shoot days but as ive allowed him to seek out vermin he,s a little pre occupied .next thing is deer hopefully get him some experiance with them this year.

    yes mate worked alot the both pics are of the the dog the bitch is smaller the pic was taken when the dog was 11 month old he is now 3years old and pretty much proved himself .he is from nuttall stuff i think but i know theres a little bull in him he is a sensible dog where you would want him to be which i really like about him due to the amount of work and lack of dogs . thanks fraser

    Hi does anyone work drahthaars on here i am very interested in the breed for its versitility i have a 14 month old dog who is proving to be invaluble . i would like to here from anyone else using these dogs fraser

    Arite lads and lasses i do alsorts but i live for terrierwork i have a patterdale dog and a black bitch id maybe call fell type ive just had a litter off her using my dog as id like a pup with a mixture of them both in it i find my dog a little big for those small places and the bitch just doesnt have the grunt for the big places i dont have a camera at the moment but hers an old pic of my dog

    gareth doesnt have the clay ground barry its a private ground im sure gareth has esperston i think. i may be able to get a team together wats the rules on semi autos as my over under is in the shop ??

    aye its a fast gun but they look like toys i had a hold of one at the gun shop dont think it would last a year in my hands to be honest

    fecking hell this is why i belive self respecting dog men give these things a wide birth pull your selfs together lads eh be happy with your dogs dont bother wat any other bugger says . my dogs are ugly as sin but they do me proud where it counts in the field. rant over not meaning to fall out with anyone but come on if your happy with your dogs surely thats what matters half these judges havent got the right to stand in the same field as the dogs that come in front of them never mind judge them . fraser

    Now then folks hows tricks just thought id say a wee hello im into most kinds hunting i have 3 terriers a lurcher 3 labs 2 spaniels and a german wire haired pointer they all get worked and help me with my job . i also work 3 ferrets and do a fair bit of shooting i use a tikka 243 a benelli mi 8 shot and an baikal spr453 . i do a little stalking when i get the chance and i aslo like to go thrash the river occasionally. look forward to post cheers fraser
