  1. cant go wrong with springer x or beagle x terrier matey my black and white bitch will go to ground too these 3 have never let us down if its there they will let us no, the black and white bitch is 1/4 springer 3/4 russell the liver and whit dog is 3/8 springer 1/8 bull rest russell and the old dog is a grafter he was our ground dog till the age hit him hes 13 now still doing cover work but we dont leave him go to ground not fair on him we got some beagle/russell x springer/russel pups to bring on now for next season

  3. do you run whippet/ greyhounds too? No got a 1x collie grey, he is 15 months old, 24ins 60lb. He is ok , still a young dog yet. Ive seen a few whippetx greys run, and they make good catch dogs. yea hes a good catch dog when we work the bullxs we run him too he puts the turns in on the bigger stuff, is your dog hancock gear? No , he is bred by a mate, 26 in greyhound 60lb bitch to 22in working collie thats works cattle+sheep. He as fare pace for a 1x, good coat+feet, and stamina should be good as he gets older.   6. depends on the dog really, me and a couple of pals often travel from essex to bedfordshire/peterborough/milton keynes with a few bull xs in the back of the van and travel home with the quarry in the back with them and we have no trouble

(pre ban) yes, he would take what foxes where in the country, im not blowing the hooter cause hes my dog but he earns his kennel and thats all i ask of him and he hasnt jacked on a fox yet, i go to irland every winter just got back on the 8th and he done me proud there too took a few foxes single handed hes good on the lamp hed bust the ditch for a rabbit and he has good speed too thanks for reply

  16. (pre ban) 2 foxe caught 3/4 whippet 1/4 greyhound took first dog fox nice catch terriers took vixen in brambles

(pre ban) first fox was retrieved by my 3/4 whippet 1/4 greyhound, fox try break across the middle of the field but was taken down by the time i got there to take photo the terriers had turned up too but the whippet x had everything under control even before the terriers arrived. he was a nice sized dog fox, got the dogs and headed on, we hit a real thick set of bramble terriers started baying straight away, fox went to bolt but see us she turn back but then was caught in brambles by the terriers could of left the whippet x have another go but we had 2 young dogs with us this is there first
