  3. Couldn't have out it better myself, my first dog was a Pitbull x Stafford & I couldn't have had a better dog! Great with kids, great with other dogs as long as they didn't try to pick a fight . I still miss her to this day & would have another if I had the more space & less terriers!
  4. They're alleged to be a mixture of Dachshund, EBT, Sealyham, JRT & whatever!!! So definitely a working Sealyham type bred for purpose!
  5. Albert is there any chance you could send a copy to both Foxgun Tom & myself please? Cheers Joe!!!!
  6. No one was a SLT & the other was SLT x JRT, my SLTs have a high saturation of Sealyham in them though!!!
  7. Lots of sex favours to Fell Type. Hey Fell Type you never told me this little bit of info ! Our Little Band will be down Friday afternoon pal, so make sure the bar's FULLY stocked !!! No whiskey as I don't want to end up stripped to the waist, face painted wanting to kill our enemies & eating their wee Bairns!!! Counting the Days pal! Counting the Days!! Grant C has asked if you'll bring a copy of Deisel's pedigree aparently you said you would at Harewood???
  8. I've heard so many stories like this before! Most Sealyhams (& their crosses etc.) usually "self-enter", she'll have smelt something to ground that the "Fell" hadn't & while you were busy probably went back because it was quieter. I've lost two of mine while out walking them. You were lucky as I never found mine again!!
  9. Thank Darwin that I'm not the only one who thinks this way!!!!
  10. Don't bite mate, some idiots  may abandon the wife & kids but it's clear you're not one of them, they're just trying to take the P!ss!!! I understand how difficult it is to re-home an animal, one of my friends wants me to re-home her SLT which is two years old & is begging to be worked (it is a pet) & I'm having a "Hell Of A Time" finding him a new home. Despite asking ALL of my "working" friends!!! It's easy to mock when you're not suffering!!! Doohan
  11. YB I've had a busy week & with club stuff etc. Sorry pal!!!
  12. Who did you get it from if you don't mind me asking? You can PM me your answer if you want to!
  13. Take your time with it as they're easily ruined & good luck with her. Can you tell me her breeding i.e. pedigree?
  14. I've just found this post & was glad to see so many people praising these dogs. I keep & hunt a pack consisting Sporting Lucas Terriers, Sealyham X JRTs, & JRT. I've no complaints but they're not for everyone as they tend to be "slow to enter & are usually bayers".
  15. Bluebell I like the picture of the Deerhounds (or Deerhound Lurchers!).
  16. No problem YB I'll pop over tomorrow if that's OK & We'll sort it together Joe
  17. iceman001979: Just for the record I wasn't paid to judge this show I did it for the "honour" of representing my club: “Neilston Working Dog Association”, the country of my birth: Scotland, the representatives of the Five Nations Terrier Competition & last but not least ME. I can assure you that I did NOT look at the owners but the dogs that we put in front of me. The "racing" lurcher called "Colby" was in superb condition & in my "humble" opinion this was probably why he won the racing. There were three judges who looked at all of the Winning" animals & our decision was unanimous.I
