phoned this guy and he only does between ireland and scotland not england or wales to scotland. if anybody knows of any other people doing trips to scotland please let me know. cheers

was just wondering if this was still someone doing this, seen a few things about ireland to england ect but not much to scotland as thats where i am. on the look out for right pup just now and just weighing up options. cheers

so finally got my certificate through today after months of waiting. was just wondering what steps would be taken when buying a gun, who would you speak to for getting the gun on your licence? local firearms officer? letter email? cheers

still no sign of the certificate yet, phoned the firearms licencing again today with still the same answer! think it could still be a a couple of months by the sound of it, would be good to hear if anyone else having the same problem cheers

going to give it another go this season with hopefully something a bit bigger, going to give loch tay a bash aswell a think

fished this loch most weekends last summer with good results, a lot of brownies up to 2lbs and the odd rainbow. also heard that there is char in the deeper water. anybody else got any experiences of fishing this loch? cheers

aye a think thats what ill do if it doesnt come shortly, shouldnt think it will be to long now although spoke to quite a few people who are waiting on there renewals coming through aswell. cheers,

thanks for the replies, rang my local firearms officer up and he said he had approved it and sent the report away to the head quarters of dealing with grants and renewals, so hopefully wont be to long now. cheers

i had my interview for my shotgun licence the last week in november and was later told everything was fine and shouldnt be to long before it comes through.still no sign of it and was just wondering if anybody else in scotland has experienced the same thing? i have also been told there has been a backlog with renewals so will obviously be priority over grants. cheers

thanks for the replies, got the application forms today, thought it would have said something about reasons for having it or permission to use it on ect but doesnt say or is that just for firearms? cheers

not sure if in right section here but thinking of getting my shotgun certificate in the near future and just wondering how to go about it, can you get the application form from local police stations, then where to send it when completed ect ect cheers
