    POLICE SCUM

Ello ello, what's all this hear then, people getting agitated?? I know lots of old bill and truly I do wonder if some of them got bullied at school and still do when they go home to they're other halfs. Iv'e seen them go over the top when in a confrontation, usually like the rest of us through fear and no matter what kit ythey have got, how much training and how many of them there are, when some t**t is going ape, drugged or pi**ed up and threatening to rip your head off your shoulders and s**t down your neck and means it, they like us tend to get a little bit excited, something bout w
  2. I know what it's like to have to pay and won't. Around here the land is generally tied up with local syndicates for rough shooting. It has set a precedent and famers know they can get paid. I shoot vermin on estates and just mindful not to go for the pheasants as its their earners. If I was you I would think very carefully about paying as once it starts it spreads rapidly.
  3. Thats my interpretation, whether on me lonesome or with a mate it's about wandering and seeing what you come across. Nothing organised.
  4. Clarkes rubber wellies in green (think camoflage) cost £9ish ( think credit crunch) waterproof and warm with two pairs of socks, fit to trot! No need for anything fancy, oh and lasts ages.
  5. Thanks for all the replies, I think a cocker might be the best bet, simply that bit smaller.
  6. Firstly let me be clear I have virtually no idea which dog would be the best for me and hope those more experienced can give me some advice. I have a small garden, hence I need a small dog that can flush out and if possible retrieve small vermin for me, rabbits, pigeon etc. I don't see me digging or sending it down any holes just simply using my 12 bore. Oh I grew up around Jack Russells and think they're great but I know they can be difficult to control and the last thing I want is for me to spend most of my day out chasing it across field and dale. So does anyone have any suggest
  7. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the purpose is of having red and green filters on a lamp. I intend to lamp for rabbits and foxes but no sure why anything but normal white light would be used? Thanks in advance. Bootneck
  8. Many thanks to you all, a couple of choices there so i'll start ringing around. Bootneck
  9. This may be a dumb question but does any know of a lamp system that allows the lamp to be attached and operated from an over and under. I've seen plenty of attachments for rifles but can't seem to find one for a 12 bore. Any help much appreciated. Bootneck
  10. Thanks to all those who have welcomed me, thanks much appreciated. Thought I might have to change my moniker as it might already be in use but checked the members list and no such conflict. To those that live in the Arundel area, keep your heads down when i'm about as i'm still kinda rusty!
  11. ello all, Great site, very informative. Iv'e been shooting since a child but never on a regular basis. Recently got into it again and have permissions on a couple of thousand acres around West Sussex. Vermin and pigeons primarily.
