  1. i live in n ireland and own an air rifle (on fac) and a semi auto shotgun. i was hoping to get a .22 rf. got bout 11 achres of land, do you think this would be enough land for a rimmie?
  2. can yo shoot deer with a shotgun and if so does it have to be solid slug?
  3. i am new to shotgunning and am finding it difficult to hit targets. how much lead should i give them? should there be a gap between the bead and the bird or should i swing through with the bead on the bird?

  7. i shoot near lisneskea and am about 2 miles from the main lough. a few weeks back i saw a flight of about 50 to 60 geese almost deffinetly canadas. i applied for my shotgun certificate the next day havnt seen them anymore tho i havnt been down at flight time in a while. i hope they return

Hi ya mate how deep we talking?? first of all you need an achor point i assume your shooting a mudflat on a rising tide??? i've done it by running a main line from the anchor point which is usually a lead weight heavy enough to take the itde your shooting! you have loops going up your mainline however far apart you want ya decoys apart! all my decoys have 4 feet there abouts of mono line attached with a clip which you clip to ya mainline going to the anchor!! experiment with it and find out which patterns work best!! same princible in a lake as well really except i used to put my decoys out si

  13. thanks verry much man. i did think that painting the deeks would be a lot of work . thanks for the info on th carts too but we can still use lead here in northern ireland hi , tufted make great sport if your night flighting on the ponds, what i would do is stand on the waters edge at last light because thats when i think they will come... stand so your looking into the sun set so when they flight in you can see them in the light because you will not get long on them they are very fast .... carts like already has been said by tom steel 3s ,i use hen wigeon for any diving ducks again like t

  15. just wondering if anyone shoots tufted ducks. i have access to two lakes in fermanagh (near lisneskea) both with tufties on them. any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated (which carts, decoys...) i was thinkin of thakin some mallard decoys and painting them. any ideas?
