  4. Just being reading through this tread  If people who enjoy country pursuits fight like this among ourselves the antis will have us beat before we know it Plumber, boarder, patterdale, beddie etc etc, doesnt matter what dog you like just get out there and use and dont knock other dogs just because its not your cup of tea
  5. Do the mk1 15 foot finders work with the 8 foot collars and vice versa, got the chance of a 15 footer cheapish but i will need to find a couple more collars to use with it if i get it i dont want to buy an 8 footer if it dont work
  6. Don't know where you get your prices from but I had a mark one finder listed on EBay at £35 and it didn't get a single bid. One went for £28-50 the week before. Anyone offers me £100, I would definitely sell them an 8' collar and finder. Currently have for sale 1 x 8' collar and 2 x 8' finders. Also 20 as new hemp purse nets with pegs. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ferret-finder_W0QQit...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/deben-ferret-locator...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ferret-Finder-Collar...1QQcmdZViewItem Heres where i get my prices from, dont get me wron
  7. Cheap as chips, dont think so The old ones are good without a doubt if you can get a good one, but why pay , 90, 100 quid or so (thats what they're going for on ebay just for the box) for something that doesn't have a warrenty and you cant get parts for any more so if it breaks your stuffed so the you need another one at , 90, 100 quid So 160 quid doesn't sound so dear after all
  8. It'll make -100 quid or more so not the bargin it may seem. been looking at them on there for a while. U can buy a new one with 2 collars from decoying.co.uk for about 160, not cheap but u get a warrenty!
  9. Doesnt matter what the colour is to me so long as it goes out and works hard However i do prefer the look of darker coloured dogs espiecally if they've got a splash of white
  10. Mine get a BARF diet and they are doing vey well on it, the protien varies from 14-18% depending wether it tripe, chicken or beef. to get the protien up i add some smartprice tuna from asda which is 24% protien to every other meal.
