  1. Im with stealthy on this. Ferrets would prefer the easier meal rather than chasing after a rat in a caravan when they can be fed something easy like mince or rabbit. Also surely its illegal to feed live animals to pets in Denmark? No not really. the law says that you HAVE to kill the animal as quick and painless as possible. so you can feed a rat if you are sure the ferret will kill it within a second... but I don't think thats going to happend.... it's leagal to feed live mice to snakes and so on. And for the record to some of you. I'm not the one wanting to give my ferrets livi

  9. This all seems piontless and as mentioned out in the open or in a box a hob will do better than a gill but gills are smaller and will fit much better down the hole .In a caravan this seems stupid and not worth while the rat will be bouncing off the walls and all sorts i dont see the point.. I had a long haired hob that was used on rats and bless him he did end up with a bad scar near his eye and this did put me off the terriers find it hard enough against a good sized one and in the eyes of death the little devils will fight to the end.. Plus the fact there cant be much nourishment in a rat. I

    rats !!

what i tend to find works really well is if you put ur bait on a large bright white board so that you dont need a lamp, u will see them run on even with juat a little moon light! then go for the head with a 22 or even beta get a .25 Interesting might try this myself i use a 22 and they a hard little devils so the head works otherwise they just spit the pellet out and run off.. I used to find they see you more in the moonlight as we used to move around as it was a large area.. did you just use a hide..

    rats !!

This method is 100% spoton as this is the way i used to shoot tham as if you use any other bate they seem to pick it up and naff off . Airun and a red filter on a lamp also with a laser for those little devils that are too close.. I used to shoot this way at a chicken farm and its simple with no messing and i used to bag around 40-50 on a friday or tuesday night.. great fun..

  21. I have had a lot to do with staffys .. Cut to the chase forget the crap , when a staffy reaches a certain point in life its head splits this usually is around the same time as the bald patch starts normally meaning that a patch means a good head and is just a way of telling its splitting .. Normally nothing to worry about but it can last to 3.5 years old as a staff finishes sliting normally around this point.. To be fair fresh meat can sort this out as what you feed them comes back 10 fold... Hope this helps
