Just a quick question, do the dogs bruise the meat of the rabbits. Many thanks ollie
The bullx retrieves nicely, doesn't let go so good so yes the meat is slightly bruised.

I usually whistle him back with my mouth but if chased something quite a distance I use an old police whistle.

Thats good going, the only chance I'd have at a woodcock would be on the lamp.

A rabbit knife I made, has served me well for a couple of years.

My 2 year old Patt will f**k off when he feels like it, some days he will, others he'll not bother. There doesn't have to be any game around, I think it's a terrier thing and not much that can be done about it other than keeping them teathered or in a compound. Just my opinion.

well i seem to have hit the truth fella because your the one getting mad
i think your getting my hilarity confused with anger friend, you tried to be a smart arse and it backfired on you, just accept that you look silly and get on with life.
maybe its because you have ginger pubes or a shit dog why your mad fella but happy hunting to you anyway
Please dont take offence Ive nowt against you and wasnt trying to slag your dog off, why would I if Ive never seen it run. I was just pointing out she is in her first season so she wont have done as much as seasoned dogs, unless youve run the legs off the dog which I dont think you would have as you seem a sensible sortHave you chucked the English knobbers off your site yet? If so I may come back and have some banter with you guys, and a walk out sounds great, have to be the coming season now though as Ive nowt to run, my pups only 8 months old so not quite ready for anything strenuous, come september though I should have something to take a wander out with, look forward to it
Oi they're not all knobbers, just most of them.

There's f**k all shit about that dog mate, how can you make a comment about a dog from one crap video clip. You just seem to be on here to wind people up, so f**k off back to where you came from your just a MESSER.
Forgot to say keep up the good work TJ.

Ben Long hawking vest, perfect for ducking, diving, vaulting fences etc. Room for plenty of game in the back and enough pockets, my only regret is I bought the leather instead of the cordura, the leather one goes rigid if it get too wet or too much blood on it, so i have to keep painting it with neatsfoot oil, should last a lifetime if I look after it.

Shamo I think what he's saying is he's building up the birds fitness therefore increasing his weight with muscle rather than fat.
Well done Rick you'll never forget that one.

Cheers for that.

Well done, good luck with Jet, I'm sure she'll do the biz for you.

Does anyone know if the Lidl electric mincer 550w would manage rabbit bones, they're reduced to £19.99 on Boxing day. If not can someone recommend one that can.
Cheers

Nice one Sean, Hows that talon healing?

If he's coming full length of the creance at 1lb 5 1/2oz personally I'd keep him at that until he's ready for hunting, then adjust his weight when you see how he performs in the field, you may need to drop it to enter him you may not depending on how committed he is to the chase. My MHH hunts at 1lb 5 1/2 oz about 2 1/2 doc mantains his weight. I think its important to practice getting him off the lure before he's flying free just in case he kills before you expect him to, you want to get it right at this stage. Good luck.

Is it the black one that wins the races? They look fast right enough.
