  1. as a general rule the best time is 3-4 days after she stops bleeding. this is usually right to go by if you are travelling to a stud dog as it is the best time for conception. i have heard of bitches taking up to 10 days after they stop bleeding.

  2. ive got a hancock x wippet which is 25.5 inch tts and perfect for me. he is very brainy and knows what he's doing in the field and takes charlie for fun.

a mate of mine has a straight hancock its big, strong, brainy and has a passion for taking charlie

  3. cockers are great, they work their little hearts out all the time, they have a better nose than a springer but dont have the tracking instinct of hound types. bonus of cockers over terriers is that they want to please you so they will do what you say i.e. you can make them hunt the cover that you want them to hunt. For size comparison the lurcher is 25.5 inch tts

  4. it's only dangerous in your minds eye mate.

you might think it looks bad but for any one thats done a bit of shooting it's just a headshot hare at the end of the day.

the wind was not an issue, as stated it was a 2506, well known for it's ability to handle wind better than a 22 cal.

the back stop was soft black sand and as clearly seen the angle was huge.

the shot was taken off the front porch of our beach bach and is part of the farm pest control programme, meaning you take the shots as they present themselves.

we shoot plenty of feral cats along the same stretch of sandunes so it was hardly a one off experience.

i suggest you avoid looking at any more video clips from new zealand, i'm sure the site of some guy hanging out of a chopper headshooting deer and goats will totally confuse your veiw of sport and pest control.

    Indeed

  5. Some people are lucky enough to have working dogs that looks good, bonus side to that is that you can do a few shows through the summer.fm

lets face it bluebell hunters dont see a challange through the summer so it makes it good when you can do stuff with the dogs come that time of year.

here is a pic of one of my lurchers he works day and night through winter and shows through summer and is very good at both

  6. lancs police are out to get as many coursing lads as poss. a mate of mine ended up with blue flashing lights round him last time he went there, f#####g wa####s were gonna take the dogs and car but couldnt cos he didnt have any catches on him. they use the helicopter a fair bit to try and catch the lads at how much £ per min of tax payers money. the rspca have no right in taking the dogs cos were obvoustly healthy, and even joe public needs outdoor clothing to walk their pets, and remains of hares.........whos to say they were'nt road kill. any solicitor would have them dogs back in one hour because as the law states, innocent until proven guilty. oh yeah whos to say that the kn#b that grassed didnt mistake a rabbit for a hare.

so there you go guys if every thing that was in the video was everything then there is no case against the guys for coursing

  7. I have 2 working bred cocker spaniel pups left, both are dogs.

Sire: Andy and fiona Robinson's Whaupley reiver, which is a decendent of Headley Millingtons breeding (the best there is and was!)

Dam: south Wales keeper bred dark chocolate bitch which i could trial if i had enough time or money. (also out of Headley's lines, and take note this is a bitch i have been offered several thousand pounds for. She took about 18 months to get my hands on her after several hundered phone calls to people all over the uk. So she is not just any old cocker that took a quik call to someone who placed an advert in a mag.

Pups born 3rd June 08 and ready 29th July 08. Tails docked, with legal certificate and dew clawed.

I have pictures available to send by email and will try to upload them to my profile.

Also i hopefully have a litter of lurcher pups due on the 23rd July 08.

Sire: Beardie collie X Border collie x Greyhound x wippet. Works day and night. This dog is now at stud and not for sale (just so the people that have been asking know). 25 1\2" tts

Dam: 5\8 bull greyhound crossed to a Saluki Greyhound with a little bit of wippet in there. 24" tts
