What about tube size any preferance. I use a 30mm tube, no particular reason for that but it's a cracking scope! If you haven't bought one yet wait for the Midland Game Fair and haggle for one on the Sunday Has anyone had anything from www.shootingshack.com in Bolton they have the best priced S&B I have found on the web.

As long as your road insured anywhere! cumbye is right i think agricultural tax you can go any distance You can get vehicles taxed as "limited use" which means a journey of about 1.2 miles on road at anyone time is allowed, this might of been what you were thinking of. yep it is limited use would that be 1.2 miles one way i can tell ya all for a fact you can only travel 12 miles as the crow flies with an agricultural veichle.i.e tractor ect..this is most definatly the law. and it has to be for an agricultural purpose,if not and get the wrong bobby or worse m

How far do you plan to go?? I use mine to get to farms i shoot about 3miles away. It wouldnt be comfy riding mine to blackpool, Dont think the wife and kids would be too chuffed either stuck in the trailer.

cheers jamie what do you use yourself. bushnell elite 4200 mate but its not fixed mag it 6x24x50 if i had the money and i liked fixed mag scopes then swaroski or s&b are the boys to have best thing you can do is go look at some and see which cross hair you like and suites your shooting Cheers mate by the way that is one mother of a rifle you have.

Hello 1st time on here i have a .222 rifle with a Redfield 6x42 scope which i use for fox mainly sometimes roe deer Scotland .I am thinking of purchasing a new scope of the fixed type any recommendations.
