  1. The Evolutions are lovely guns I used to own one a few years back, but I'm a PCP man these days and as for money well I'm not short of a few quid as me and my mrs run a good business that does well. We work very hard and when we buy things we will get the best we can afford...
  2. Well I've just got back from the gun shop and the order is done, it will take Theoben 3 weeks to make and ship the rifle to my local gun shop. I know this will be the longest 3 weeks in my life now My mate who owns the gun shop gave me a good discount for being a member of Devon and Cornwall shooting association so with all the extras I got the rifle for £900 instead of the full price of £943 Cash on the nose of corse as the saying goes "money talks and B*LLSH*T walks "
  3. No. sure i've got a copy somewhere, in Airgunner or Air gun mag a few years ago they was a article on a Special Edition that folden into a case. Your going to want me to go in the attic and get the Mag now are'nt you? Off you trot into the spider webs in the dark attic
  4. Hmm I thought the Shirocco was just a break barrel gas ram rifle
  5. Anything is possible if you have the design/engineering skills, but don't you think if this was practical then gun makers would have thought about it and done it by now??
  6. No problem buddy but thanks anyway it was a brilliant read
  7. Fantastic post John but it's in the wrong section of the forum maybe the mods can move to the right place
  8. I'm positive it will be Liam as I do plenty of hunting and the built in Harris bipod will be at home in a local gun club shooting targets on a 30 meter range......
  9. I'm fully prepared for any balance and extra weight, I'd say that I'm pretty strong and this won't be an issue for me. 10 years ago I used to own the MK I 12/200 .20 caliber and it was a fantastic tool for hunting. Unfortunately some junkie burgled my house back then and the rifle was taken I thought now I'm in the position to buy another PCP and after looking at many other rifles, I decided to go for the flagship from Theoben. I made this decision so that if I went for the top end gun, then I would not feel like looking over my shoulder if I'd brought any of the others. I'm always the type
  10. THEOBEN S-TYPE RIFLE A TRUE HUNTING MACHINE.
  11. You've got to be out of your mind to think that the HW rifles can even come close to a PCP Airwolf I was gonna get the Airwolf myself but did not get on with the fore-end of the stock and then I met the Theoben S-Type (which I'm ordering tomorrow) and all was put into prospective. Don't get me wrong the HW's are great guns and very well made (I know because I've owned a couple over the years). But if you have the money then the most expensive PCP you can afford is the way to go in the air gun world....
  12. Agreed the S200 grouped like a bag of S**T but that Daystate Airwolf really showed why it's worth spending a grand on a gun.....
  13. I'm very impressed with what that Airwolf has done nice one mad al for doing this test and posting it for us all
  14. Nice shooting buddy and is that a fox as well there?? Only the picture is really tiny to clearly see what you've shot...:
  15. Cheers Adam and as for videos well I'm in the process of making a camera adapter to fit on the scope so you can really get in on the action and see the pellet smash the quarry. Once this is acheived I'll be posting videos on youtube as well as here too...
  16. Cheers Jef66 and yes I'm certainly one lucky b*****d Theobens are pure hunting machines and with 500 shots in .177 in the 500cc buddy bottle, well I won't be worried about recharging in a hurry. The .20 caliber gets 600 shots from the 500cc buddy bottle and .22 gets 700 shots from the same bottle. So watch out bunny rabbits coz I'm coming to get you all in my stew pot
  17. Thanks whippeter69 I'm really stoked to be at this point. The S-TYPE is the flagship of the Theoben rifles so I'm sure I'll be well over the moon. I've owned a MK I 12/200 .20 caliber about 10 years ago until some junkie burgled my house so I'm well familiar with how the Theobens can put pellet after pellet down the same hole at 40+ yards The accuracy is second to none with their rifles so if the S-TYPE is more improved on that then I'll be bagging quite a few bunnies etc
  18. Well today was good news for me on the money front as I will be ordering my .177 Theoben S-TYPE PCP rifle After getting the go ahead from my beautiful Mrs and a little bit of running around for her to keep her sweet , it means I'm off to the shop to order it tomorrow I think I will have to wait up to 4 weeks for Theoben to get the order sorted and when it arrives I'll be posting a review with photos and maybe a video or two. So for now it's just the waiting game but at least I've arrived at this point after a long time saving my cash
  19. I use one of these SCOPES as they are excellent for lamping, top notch build quality and very solid.....
  20. Agreed the stanley/craft knife type opens rabbits up like a tin of beans
  21. I know these knives and they are brilliant but not the cheapest...
  22. Man he's cute! Keep those pictures coming as he grows please
